All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning - Chicago

HOLY SMOKES I just called this business to ask about installation of a Nest thermostat connector. Not the thermostat as well, just the small connector pictured below.

After trying to troubleshoot why our thermostat wasn't working in our new place I found out from a friend that we need a connector added onto our Spacepak unit. According to him (he is an HVAC company owner and tech out in CA) this should take all of 15 minutes MAX and he encouraged me to do it myself. I told him i'd first call around and ask folks what they charge since I don't want to take a chance (even though I am fairly handy).

All Temp quoted me $475 haha. What?! I asked for clarification because as you can see this small object literally only needs to connect to a few wires and thats it. I thought maybe she misunderstood me, but no she said the owner confirmed the quote.

Hard pass. I don't appreciate being price jammed because it's summer and you think my a/c isn't working. It's working just fine with an old school thermostat we just wanted to use our Nest one.

All Temp tech was great. He answered all my questions as he worked on the unit. He was able to resolve all the issues I had with my AC unit in a timely matter.

Repair for the same problem every three months error code 182. Same previous issue in Jan. It’s 59 degrees in my house and my mother is in heart failure and on oxygen and the best they can do is between 10 and 2. It’s 2 now and still no tech. I filed a complaint with the BBB also. Run as fast as you can from this company. Would never use again!

Furnace stopped working on Saturday night. Called all temp for help. Andy called back, and helped to fix the problem by phone, without charging us. Very professional, quick response, 5 starts service!

John the installation tech was on time and very professional. He respected my home as if it was his. He made sure that all materials that were part of the clean up were completely removed.

All-Temp came out to fix my AC unit in one day. Technician was very professional and knowledgeable.

I heard about All Temp through my neighbor after my furnace stopped working. I don’t know much about what furnaces but I did my research; costs online ranged drastically that I didn’t know how to assess. After getting quotes from a few companies, I went with the lowest vendor which was NOT All Temp. The day of the installation, the company that was supposed to install that morning called to let me know his installer had “car problems.” I was furious. I was stuck in a situation where I couldn’t wait another day to install a furnace.

I swallowed my pride and reached out to Mike at All Temps who was efficient with his estimate on the quote. I shared my situation with him and somehow, he made it work to get someone to my place within a few short hours. The guys that came by to install the furnace were awesome and as I write this, I’m sitting cozy and warm in my place.

Don’t doubt going with All Temp. They are legit and don’t BS. I am a customer for life and will use them this spring to replace my AC unit. Love them 💕
