We lost heat during the extreme cold ahead of Christmas weekend 2023. We were not in town. Matter was the only company we found that would service us the same day we called, helping us to avoid potentially costly plumbing repairs. Steven took our call and gathered all the information, and was very understanding about needing the repair, as our house temperature was dropping quickly. On the Friday night before Christmas Eve, Peyton came to our house when he certainly had better things to do. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a fair price. He alerted us when he was on his way and called with a full report when he fixed the problem. Highly recommend this company and Peyton as the top in the Champaign-Urbana area.

DJ Johnson and Matt Linsner demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill in trouble shooting my furnace problems, fixing the issues, and installing a new thermostat. Mattex Heating and Cooling does a great job at getting the job done right the first time!

We had some issues with the furnace turning on and off frequently. Clinton Dieu came and did a full inspection of the system and provided detailed diagnosis with possible solutions for the issues he identified. He was patient, professional and knowledgeable. This is the second time Clinton came to help us. He repaired our AC last summer. Will definitely use Mattex again in the future.
