Mattex Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Sewer, and Electrical

Headache free from start to finish. Entire team was wonderful to work with and highly professional. Starting with my initiating call into the office, to Oscar with his knowledgeable and highly competitive bid for sewer replacement, followed by the PM who called to get me scheduled for replacement, down to the crew of nice gentlemen that arrived on my scheduled day on time, got the job done quickly and smoothly. Also small mention of appreciation for working so well to coordinate with the city of Champaign to get this done.

I guess these people are good at plumbing, etc., but they are garbage at concrete work and completing their work neatly and in a timely manner. They repaired our neighbors sewer line, a job that should have taken 5 working days. Well three weeks later they FINALLY said they were done and opened our street back up. Apparently they were so careless with their work that they messed up the sidewalk and curbs to the point they needed to be replaced. And then the amount of dirt and concrete rubble they left behind is beyond infuriating. Giant chunks of leftover concrete were allowed to harden into a pile that looked like a mound of concrete poo. And just sat there untouched for over a week (they finally removed some of it today).
Plus they did such a substandard job with the concrete work they did complete, that they have to tear out the work they did and redo it.
I’m at a loss for just how terrible things have looked since they “completed” the work.
We work VERY hard to keep up our house and property and to have them trash things for weeks has been the biggest insult to me and my neighbors.

Cameron is very nice and professional. He patiently helped us identify the problem and gives us great advice on improving indoor air quality.
Mattex overall is very communicative and responsive. I have a great experience working with them. Price is fair too.

They are outstanding! Blake and Oscar are personable, professional, and punctual. They took the time to make sure all our questions were answered and gave updates as they completed work! They did an awesome job of taking care of our family of 5 with 1 bathroom and a hopelessly clogged sewage pipe! I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! I thank them for taking pride in their work!

They came out to give my husband a quote on replacing air conditioning unit and moving our furnace since we are remodeling a home. He has contacted them twice for the quote and still no response. Apparently they aren't worried about loosing a sale. Definitely wouldn't recommend them.

My outside faucet wasn't working. It wouldn't release water. I set up an appointment within a few days of contacting mattex, and they came out and fixed it. They kept in contact with me over the weekend leading up to the appointment, called before they came over and was at my place faster than I thought they would be. Alex had the job done in no time, about 5 or 10 minutes. I now have water outside again! Alex was super nice, explained everything, and answered all of my questions. I was able to pay and have it fixed over my lunch break. I highly recommend Mattex.

We were very happy with the services provided to us by Keifer at Mattex. He explained all the issues clearly and gave us enough information on what was causing the drains to be clogged. He was very thorough in evaluating the problem. He was personable and professional.
