My hvac system is very old and I was afraid we would have to replace the whole thing. Charlie showed up from Polar and tried and tried to get it running but it wasn't happening. 5 minutes after he left he called me and said he talked to tech support and wondered if he could come by the following day to try something different. I'm so thankful he didn't give up he had my ac back on within 10 minutes the next day. Thank you Charlie and Polar Heating!

These guys came out last fall as we had issues with our heater. We ended using the wood stove all winter as could never get to work right. Well we started having a.c. issues. Come to find out we had a leak which is why our heater was having the same issue once temperatures got extreme. Do not recommend if you want it fixed the first time

Charlie came to service my hvac unit. He went above and beyond to help me. His price way fair, he was timely and friendly. I will definitely call him the next time I need my hvac services or repaired!

Polar heating and air was the contractor who landmark home warranty sent out for the A/C unit on one of the properties I manage. The technician they sent out told me the condenser needed to be replaced and since they dont use that type of unit anymore the rest of the parts also need to be replaced as they won't be compatible. It seemed odd as the unit was only 10 years old and likely shouldn't need replacing. This would have cost my owner $1600 out of pocket as landmark doesnt cover parts that arent failing and they would only cover the condenser. We had A1 heating and cooling give us a 2nd opinion. The technician with A1 was a class act. When I met him out there the capacitor was missing which seemed odd. Even if it was failing it shouldn't have been missing. All that the guy with A1 had to do was install a new capacitor. He did that and then the ac started blowing cool air immediately. To say I am unhappy with the service polar heating and air provided is an understatement. I hope this isnt a business practice they teach their technicians and it is only one bad apple. I sure hope the technician who was at 12783 fernleaf Boise Idaho 83713 on Monday either learns his lesson or loses his job.

Polar heating and air provided excellent service. I would highly recommend them. They were upfront and honest about my furnace and were more than willing to work with me and they provide quick service and went above and beyond.
