The office personal was kind and helpful. Even the service man was kind. On a rental property in Boise my a.c. stopped working. Polar came on time and was kind to my tenant. When he left he took a part with him so the unit could not run anymore during the heat of mid July. The warranty company approved a new condenser but with the new condenser it needed an updated coil inside which the warranty company would not replace because the current one worked still. I am an HVAC contractor out of town and the price they quoted $1800 is more than the cost of a new furnace and coil installed. I think that Polar takes advantage of the situation because of the relationship they have with the warranty company. They took advantage of the renter by takit the part and making sure it could not be turned on then wanted to price gouge me because I had to use them with my warranty. This is a dishonest business practice and from the reviews it looks like I am not the first they have done this to.

Polar Heating and Air of Meridian installed my furnace on January 1, 1917. It was freezing and they worked in the cold and got my new furnace up and running. I purchased an Equipment Maintenance Plan to make sure my new furnace and air conditioner stays working in tip top shape. Daniel comes every 6 months and does a furnace tune up in the fall and an air conditioner tune up in the spring. He is very courteous and explains what the procedure is. I would definitely recommend Polar Heating & Air Conditioning.

Polar saved our bacon this weekend. Our AC went out on Friday and Dan showed up immediately to diagnose the problem and order the necessary parts. Hope, in the office, kept in constant contact with us and made sure Dan was able to fix our AC before we had to spend another hot sleepless night. Cannot say enough about these guys. Definitely 5 stars!

Polar Heating and Air is the only company I will ever use for my heating and cooling needs. We have used them for repairs, replacement and maintenance over the last 4.5 years and will continue to use them for everything going forward. Always professional and honest, they’ve never tried to sell me something that I didn’t actually need and always ensured I understood what was going on.

I would highly recommend Polar Heating and Air. Very responsive and professional. Charlie came out and found our heat run under the house was in bad shape. My furnace went out and my Home Warranty company sent me to this company It was 27 degrees outside and I had no heat. When Polar called me the lady was so happy to let me know they’re had a cancellation and they could get me in November 30th. I explained stinger that I had no heat and it was freezing outside and I could not wait 18 days for service. She didn’t seem to care at all. She told me to call the home warranty company back and tell them it was an emergency but she would not try to get me in any sooner and to me to have a nice day and hung up. Very unprofessional!!

Charlie answered the phone first time I called. Told him the problem and he told me when he would be able to come. He arrived when he said he would, and called in advance. Charlie examined our HVAC in detail and diagnosed a likely cause. Said I would need a plumber as it's a drain problem. Charlie was friendly, professional, and demonstrated expertise throughout. I strongly recommend Polar Heating & Air Conditioning.

We have been so happy with Polar. They have serviced our AC and Heating for a couple years now. This summer our old AC unit finally died. They were very quick to get it replaced. They explained everything very well and we are pleased with the outcome.

My home warranty people sent a guy out to repair and "tune up" my ac. Scheduled 9:30-11. They call me at 7:50 and tell me he's on his way. Have to wake my son up and wait for him. He's at my house for 5 minutes, looks like he just rolled out of bed, said I need a new thermostat and a tune up, says he cant do anything today to fix it. Said he's "not there to fix or clean anything just there to look.....No repairs, nothing done said the Thermostat is too complicated and he has to go to the next one..Never again

Dan came and did a tune-up on my heating and A/C unit. If there was 10 stars I would give them 10. Dan was polite and informative. He shared tips to keep my unit working properly. Thanks Polar Heating and Air Conditiong.
