Furnace shutoff sometime in the night. Called these folks in the morning and Justin was out before noon. After arrival, he began the diagnosis by removing a cover. That's when I witnessed a St Patricks Day Miracle! Justin literally touched the inducer and the furnace returned to life! 10 stars. This company employs HVAC Leprechauns. Genius.

After nearly a month of dealing with another service company and 3 service calls (starting July 5, 2002) we were told our 5 1/2 year old geothermal system needed to be replaced due to at least 5 leaks in various places, When I learned about Idaho Geothermal. (Through an Idaho Power employee) I called Bryan who cared that our A/C had been out for almost a month and got a technician, Mike, out to diagnose our problem the very next day. Mike opened up the unit and immediately determined that there were not 5 leaks but only 1 massive leak at the coil connection that made it appear there were more. Mike assured us that it could be fixed and he tested the compressor and found it to be good. The other technicians said there was a 50 percent chance it may also need to be replaced and didn’t even test it. Having Mike here was like a breath of fresh air because he was so knowledgeable about our system and assured us that we didn’t need to spend thousands of dollars to replace it. Mike was very pleasant, professional and competent. When he returned to replace the part, he did it in a timely and respectful manner and made sure everything worked as it should before he left. Although the service was not inexpensive, we feel confident that Mike did a great job and we will continue to use the services of Idaho Geothermal. Also, all telephone contact through Natalie has been excellent and she exudes a very responsive and caring manner.

Just had a Geothermal unit installed. Andy Wallace was very professional and did a wonderful job with the install. Would definitely recommend.

I rated the service 2 stars instead of 1 due to the great service I received from the technician. He arrived on time, made quick work, and walked me through the issues with my furnace.

The business practice for charging is terrible. I was quoted a price to make the repairs. I had no idea how long it would take, so I monitored the total time the technician spent on my system. The total time came to 20 minutes. If I factor drive time in, we come to less than 90 minutes. I was still charged the full amount for labor of $500. I called to ask about an adjustment for such a high cost (over $300 per hour rate). I was told they only work on a flat fee regardless of the time it takes. The manager even went so far to tell me they would charge the full price even if the repair only took 5 minutes! I am sharing this so you can be aware of their billing practices and not get overcharged for quick and simple repairs!

Have booked a pre-season heater maintenance service. Erin arrived in time. He was very polite and conducted comprehensive checking of the heating system. He explained to me the purpose and the status for each check. He did some normal cleaning on the heater. At the end, he presented a full report. It is very good experience.

Great! From Scott's first visit, through Shane's checking and double checking to Hubert and Mckay's installs - two systems.
They handled everything including electrician.
Very fast to get us on the schedule. On time, every time!

Erin was sent to service my heating unit on 11/4. He was punctual, professional, kind, thorough, and friendly. He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood his answers and never made me feel rushed. His excellent customer service made a positive impact on my view of the company. He was a pleasure to work with.

Our heater stopped working. Called at 4:10 on Friday evening, thinking we'd get on the schedule, for the following week. I was told the repairman would call when he was on his way. He was on his way at 4:20! He was able to diagnose it, but didn't have the part. First thing Monday morning I was notified and he was here fixing by 10am! Would HIGHLY recommend!!
