To start, the technician deserves 5 stars, Tom was extremely helpful, skilled and didn't leave me in a lurch! He made sure the job was done and because of that I'll call for him again. Drake the company could use some improvement- I called more than once to get help and some time passed because I had to keep reaching out. Secondly, while they have a somewhat reasonable service charge to have someone come out ($50), their prices for repair services are ridiculously high!

My furnace kept turning off and was blowing cold air.
Curtis was able to take the time to diagnose the problem and come up with a solution. Since it was late in the day, he showed me how to restart the furnace to get me thru the night and then replaced one of the needed parts that was available. Then when the other replacement part came in, he came out to replace the additional part.
Great work and service all around!

I am the Maintenance Director at an Assisted Living facility in Boise and we use Drake for all our plumbing, gas or HVAC issues we don't fix in house. Had an issue with an improper gas line on our commercial dryer and had Thomas come out to take a look. He had the problem understood and planned immediately and was back with parts fast. Got the lines upgraded and extended quickly and even added some better support for the line. His work was efficient and professional and I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing or gas issues. As well as Drake for anything plumbing, gas or HVAC

I used Drake Mechanical today to replace an outside faucet that was leaking when turned on. I was given an estimate of $495 and not knowing what the new faucet costs, I approved the estimate. He was her for 20 minutes and I later found the exact faucet at Lowes for $49. that means that I was charged $450 for 20 minutes of work. Beware of this company!

We have had Drake Mechanical out to repair a few plumbing issues that our builder didn't finish. Matt took time to explain what we needed and what the process was going to be. Everything was completed as expected and at a fair price. These guys are great!

We used Drake Mechanical at my work, when our pipes froze. John and Matt came out within 30 minutes of calling and were able to assess the issues right away. Based on their expert advise, we had the pipes replaced and we were back in business. Their estimate was right on, with no surprises. They nicely educated myself and my staff about how to prevent this and little changes we could make to increase the life of our equipment. Technicians were kind, clean and easy to communicate with. We will use Drake Mechanical from now on.

We had "a mystery problem" in our water based heat pump area and went through 3 techs from our home warranty program (2 plumbers and an hvac guy) and no one knew what to do. We finally called Drake, and got prompt and very high-quality, professional service. It was clear they care, love what they do, and pride themselves on good, thorough work. Drake Mechanical has been helping me for at least 33 years. Through the years they have always done the highest quality work and always saved me money. I would NEVER call anyone else to help with my plumbing, heating, and air conditioning problems. When I could have easily been charged at least twice as much, they have always been honest and saved me money. Please don't even THINK about calling another company. All the workers are the best in town. Today Tom Bullock came to my (very old) house and diagnosed the problem. He will be coming back with new pipes and maybe another worker to fix the major problem soon...maybe today or certainly early next week. Please call Drake Mecnanical for any problems. They are beyond wonderful!

Needed some plumbing work done. Drake was prompt with work. I don't recall the technicians name (number 18) but he did a good job of explaining the issue, the options, and the pros and cons of each option.

Drake mechanics are very courteous; knowledgeable and professional. I am so pleased with the work done installing my new water heater that I signed a maintenance contract , Within a week my plumbing was checked out , furnace cleaned the same day. All three employees/workers are an asset to Drake Mechanical. Very pleased!
