We LOVE Drake Mechanical! Dean Smith has given our boilers expert care. The folks at Drake are always willing to listen and really understand our problems. They are professional and always on time! I recommend them to anyone.

The technician showed up and was personable. Wasn't wearing ratty, dirty clothes. Listened to what we had to say and then assessed the situation. Was very clear with explanation of what he could do and what cost would be. Did more that I expected him to as far as cleaning up mess that was made by original problem not by him. Wasn't bothered by little dogs. Checked several times to make sure problem was fixed before he left. Overall great experience.

Have used Drake several times . We have a basement and have had multiple issues. This last time we called in the morning and was told someone would be to our house that afternoon. They called at 3:00 and said they couldn't make it. We are sitting there with a flooded basement so the cancellation was disappointing. However, we called another company and they had someone out within 20 minutes. It was a blessing in disguise because they charged about one third of what Drake had charged us in the past. We found that Drake charges way to much compared to the other company, who provided the same service for a much more affordable price .Have shared our experience with others and would not recommend Drake .

My hot water heater stopped working on a Friday night. My husband looked online to find a dealer of the type of unit we had, which is not common. He found Drake Mechanical and called to schedule a service time. Jordan was the technician who arrived Saturday afternoon, and he was very polite. I was home alone, as my husband was at Bogus with our children. We had researched the cost of a replacement hot water heater, and had a general idea of what we should be charged (around $1300 for just the unit). Jordan let me know that finding a replacement was difficult, but he was able to get the last one. After he checked things out, he warned me that the price was rather high. I was shocked when he gave me the figure of $6300! I asked him how much the actual hot water heater cost. He told me that he had no idea because he had just put it on his account. I asked about a tankless option, and he let me know that the cost would be almost as high. Of course I knew something was fishy so I called my husband. We decided to send Jordan on his way. This morning I called Meridian Plumbing. Brian came within a few hours and replaced our hot water heater for $2900. I don't understand why Drake would think it is ethical to charge DOUBLE what I paid elsewhere. My husband and I are in our 40s. We both grew up in Boise and have never had an experience quite like this. I don't normally write reviews, however I felt this was necessary in hopes that I can save someone else from getting taken advantage of.

John did a great job for us. We have used Drake throughout the years and they have always been very professional and they do great work.

I had Tom Bullock come and do some plumbing work for me. Great guy, really knows his stuff. Very courteous, explained his work in terms I can understand, arrived on time. Overall, a very good experience with him. I recommend him to everyone I know who looks for a good plumber

My tech was John Kitson. Very friendly and did excellent work on making changes on our shower remodel and installing a new water heater.

Drake Mechanical did extensive work for us after a ruptured pipe in our crawl space caused a flood on our main floor. Ander Schumann was our general contractor and did a excellent job. He was attentive to our needs, stayed in communication, and facilitated a beautiful final result. Kudos to Drake Mechanical!

Drake Mechanical has always provided the highest quality of service. The care shown is a result of the fantastic owners and is carried through by all of their staff and technicians. Prompt, affordable, and they help the veteran community through their non-profit. Highly recommended!

We had a plumbing emergency and Tom was dispatched and arrived timely. He he identified and fixed the plumbing problem right away and arranged appropriate clean-up services immediately. I don't think it's possible to find a more helpful and pleasant technician. He eased a very stressful situation and offered helpful advice to avoid related issues in the future.
