LOOK AT ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU CALL THIS COMPANY. My parents called Drake Mechanical who came out and only completed half of the job that they paid for. When we tried to call them to refund some of the money to make it right, they refused. We called a different company (Master Rooter) to come out who completed the job that Drake Mechanical was paid to do. Not to mention when we called back and asked about getting some of the work refunded, they specifically said they don’t guarantee the work they did.

Called Drake for help with frozen water pipes in a mobile home I am remodeling. When John the plumber arrived he was informed what we had already diagnosed some of issues, thawed the lines and could see where several of the pipes had split. He was asked to repair these and anywhere else that his professional eye could see was a problem. I left him to do his work when he called me moments later with a quote of $883.62 including the $39 service fee to fix the problems so we could have water again. I thought this sounded about right considering what I had seen and having some experience with plumbing. About 2hrs later he called me for payment saying he was finished. I thought he had finished too quickly, so I questioned what he had done. He had only replaced hot line from the water heater to the washer with pex. When we turned on the water we could hear water leaking under the floor in several different locations. When I questioned John why he hadn't fixing the other leaks he said they were in a difficult place and there would be a "hard to get too" up charge.
I am very disapointed with the poor service and the complaining nature of the plumber. I would warn anyone who is considering using Drake to think twice about it.
THIS COMPANY IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

I called Drake Mechanical the beginning of the week and gave them several choices of days to come out since my primary plumbing problem (a leaky yard hydrant) wasn't all that urgent. They (THEY) chose to schedule for the next day. Finally, at 4:30 on the day they were supposed to have come out, they called to ask if I still wanted them to come out. By this time it was already getting dark and I knew they were a half hour drive from me, so of course not. They offered no explanation or apology for not having shown up as scheduled. Then they asked if I wanted to reschedule. Again, of course not. My time is precious and I have better things to do than rearrange my whole life so I can sit around waiting for service people who don't show up. It's extremely rude and inconsiderate. Too bad for them, as I was also going to ask about installing a whole-house water softening system.

Where do I start? We were told that a serviceman would be there between 8:30 and noon. Since this is a rental (yes they were informed of this) I had to drive over to pay for the repairs. So the tenant, who is a roofing contractor, had to be there, also. Finally, at 1:30pm I called to find out where the serviceman was. I was told it would be just a little while longer. He finally showed up at 2:30pm. This man knew nothing about the unit. It was a pellet stove and the serviceman had his phone and he was searching the internet for troubleshooting. He had no idea what to do or what was causing the problem. He was at the house for about a half hour and did nothing! Did nothing but he did collect a check for $150.00. Then when the tenant decided to run the stove, it ran for an hour and shut off. The same exact problem that I paid $150.00 to have fixed. So now we have a pellet stove that STILL doesn't work but we are $150.00 lighter. We were told if he didn't fix it, then call the manufacturer and see if they can help you. To say I'm a little angry is an understatement.

Techs are liars. Had one come out and tell me something about my condenser motor. Said it was one of a kind. And it would have to be special ordered. I got a second opinion with right now heating and air and they fixed it right then and there. For cheaper too. Don't go to them

My water heater ruptured in the morning on 02/14/2019 I called Drake Mechanical and they sent John over immediately. The whole process was smooth. John was professional the whole time.

Poor service, technician was rude and not professional. Blower motor used is oversized, now it is very difficult to get filters in. Told there was no warranty after completion of job assuming for how much I was being charged it would come with a warranty (would of done it myself if I had known that in the beginning)

Thomas was super friendly and seemed knowledgeable. There was some confusion about what was being done, but we got it handled.
