Carter and Sons HVAC

No one ever wants to be put in a position where they are forced to buy a new HVAC system, but if it has to happen, you want Carter and Sons to do the work! They saved us in a tough situation and had a person out ASAP, they evaluated the problem, and made us feel confident that it was time to replace out old system. Then they got the work scheduled as quickly as they could so that we could resume our lives. The office staff, David who did the troubleshooting, and the installers were ALL terrific to work with and just a real pleasure. This is my new favorite company.

I have been using Carter and Sons for all my HVAC needs for over a decade. They are knowledgeable, reasonably priced, great service and trustworthy. My heat went out last Saturday morning and they were at my home that afternoon....only a small repair was needed. I can rely on their honesty as much as their skill and service.

John was great! He arrived right on time, worked quickly and talked through the issues with us. The whole process was very transparent, we knew exactly what we were getting and what it was going to cost us. We have an older unit and when it needs to be replaced, we'll definitely give Carter and Sons a call. When you use these guys, you know you're supporting a local and family owned business. I've been meaning to type a review after replacing my entire HVAC system a little over a month ago. Carter and Sons in Smyrna is a great family owned company. David Nesbitt is a pleasure to work with to get everything you need/want. Nathan and Bryce were awesome doing the install. I know that any questions or needs I have will be taken care of, along with the servicing.

I have used Carter and Sons for many years now and I am pleased with their work. They come when they say they will be here and they contact me ahead of time. They are always ready to answer my questions. The quality of their work is second to none. I have referred them to many friends and family. Nate and Bryce came to my house to install the new AC unit. They were both friendly, courteous, and very professional. Both men ensured that the job was done correctly. They answered all my questions and the billing was seamless as there were no hidden fees. I am definitely going back to Carter and Sons when I have another HVAC issue.

This is the third time we have had John out to our home since buying it last Spring. He's helped fix our A/C and just recently came and helped us figure out why our pilot light wouldn't stay lit and we couldn't get adequate heat. John is very friendly and down to earth. He explains exactly what he's doing - and is more than willing to teach his clients so that they can trouble shoot their own problems in the future before calling him. Is not easy to find an HVAC company with Honest, Nice an skilled people running it. Highly recommend Carter and Sons for fair pricing and above all the friendly can do attitude .

I’ve had Carter and Sons replace the HVAC equipment in the last 3 homes I’ve purchased. Haven’t used anybody else in years. They do a great job with equipment sizing, layout, installation and service. Wonderful, very reliable people and they keep my state of the art HVAC equipment tuned up nicely.

Ryan came to our home and took a look at our system bc it wasn't heating on the first floor. He was very professional and friendly (even let our dog jump on him) He carefully took a look at all options and called other experts in his office for diagnosis. I appreciated that he ran down all of my options and not just the expensive one. Plus he was realistic and transparent about it all. Will definitely be using them again.
