ELM HVAC

ELM was scheduled through First American Home Warranty. Did not arrive in the 8-12am window on the day scheduled and did not contact me. I called and was told someone would be there that day - nobody came and nobody called. I called the next morning and a tech arrived, changed out a capacitor and left. A/C was not working within the hour. I was told the tech was still in the area and would come back by. Nobody came that day and nobody called. I called multiple times over the next few days and left voice mails. It was clear they were dumping my number to voice mail because it went there immediately. I called from a different cell number and they answered, again promising someone would be coming to my house that day. Again, nobody showed and nobody called.

I had First American assign to someone else (Sears) and they came out and fixed the A/C that day. In all the calls to Elm, not one time did anyone contact me to tell me when someone would be here, that the tech was running late or would not be here, or just simply to respond to my voice mails at all.

Unprofessional.
Never arrived when they said they would, and never contacted me about it.
Did not fix problem.

Do not use.

Ernest H. was the technician who serviced, and installed our new HVAC system. He was clean, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly to me, he was punctual. My time is also valuable. And prices were reasonable. Will use again if necessary, and will refer.

Charles came out to service our upstairs unit and was very professional and quick. He was able to assess the situation and make the repair on the spot; and ensured all was in working order.

I recently had my condenser fan motor replaced By Charles. He was quite polite, punctual, and did the job expediently. I highly recommend ELM for anyone needing HVAC related services and/or repairs.

Horrible! On Monday, June 7th, made an appointment to have the service come over to repair AC. As of today, June 11th, I was told that I did not make an appointment with them to come here and it was rescheduled to next week Wednesday, June 16th. Can't wait any longer. Plus the service is not the Deaf-friendly service.

Ernest came out and worked through my AC system because low and behold the first 80 degree day and my system wasn't working. He came out right away and was very nice and informative as he explained the system, what was going wrong with it and helped ensure that it was going to be working. I'd work with them again for sure.

Edit 6/1: Had another issue with my HVAC. Elm HVAC came out and tried to diagnose the issue. After no luck the technician concluded that the issue must be with my duct work. He wasn't helpful in communicating to my warranty company. The duct work would cost between $5,000 and $10,000 to investigate and fix. I got a second opinion from another company who correctly diagnosed the issue as a faulty defrost control board. This correct diagnosis took about 10 minutes and cost $500 to fix including materials, much less than the several thousand the ductwork would have cost. My opinion now is that Elm has the capability to solve very basic HVAC issues, such as low refrigerant, but issues that extend beyond that are hit or miss regarding their capability.

ELM HVAC is been nothing short of professional. They have let me in the loop with my heating repairs. Punctual with timing. Affordable. Very professional. I would recommend them for any heating needs

Ernest Harris and the entire team at Elm Hvac always takes care of us at our office and all our rental properties. Our thermostat went out after replacing it 6 months earlier and he was in the next day installing a new one for free! It is awesome to have confidence in someone’s work and I would recommend this team to anyone I love. I know they’ll be taken care of with Elm Hvac

VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL MAN HE CAME IN MY HOUME AND CHANGE AND FIX ALL ISSUSES WITH MY AC SYSTEM AND IN MINITES MY HOUSE WAS COOL AGAIN. i HAVE CALL SOME THE POPULAR COMPANIES AROUND ATLANTA AND THEY WAS NOT ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PROBLEM WAS. AM SO GREATFUL FOR ELM HVAC SERVICES FOR FIGURING IT OUT AND MAKING IT WORK. IF YOU HIRE THEM YOU WILL NOT REGERT SPENDING THIS MONEY.

ELM HVAC serviced my air conditioning units and did an outstanding job. They were very professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!
