Let me start by saying this Aire Serv is amazing and second to none. In September they initially came out to replace our Air Hander and some air ducts in the attic; however, they didn't stop there. After completing the work, they realized the AC wasn't cooling as well as it should for the type of system we have. I told the owner that the AC would struggle to cool and hold 78 degrees in the summer and in turn wouldn't heat well in the winter, even with e-heat. I told him that I have had two AC companies, since the install 10 years ago, tell me that that it’s completely normal for ACs to struggle like that. He said “No, it’s not!”
They started looking over the entire system from top to bottom. Sure enough, after tracing all the wires and connections to and from the air handler, the main controller in the house, and the outside unit they found the problem that no one else noticed for the past 10 years. ONE wire was hooked up incorrectly on the outside unit… ONE! Apparently that wire was keeping the 2 stage compressor from cycling on and off running correctly. They fixed the wiring, verified all other connections, and “Tada!” our 10 year problem was fixed!
I have waited a few months to post this review because I wanted to see If the problem was really fixed and to see how the unit works on both hot and cold days. I must say, the AC works like never before (literally)! Since the install, we had several days in the 90s and more recently a few nights in the mid/low 40s. The AC has effortlessly maintained any temperature we set. To truly test the system I did some testing of my own. During one of the hot days in the 90s, I actually turned the temperature in the house down from our regular 78 to 73. Sure enough, the temperature in the house started dropping steadily and before I knew it, it was 73. After that, it occasionally turned on to circulate the air and maintain the set temperature. The house felt very chilly. On the flip side, during one the recent cold days I turned off the e-heat function and bumped the thermostat from our regular 72 to 76. It didn’t take long before the house hit 76, and it felt hot. We have never been able to do any of that!
I can’t thank the owner of Aire Serv and his staff enough! You have definitely earned all of our future business.
Good experience. Came out quickly to job. Trip fee is high in $85 for traveling around Hinesville and diagnosing problems. Its a small town. Tech sent pics and communicated well.
The technicians, Jason and Kenny were extremely professional, friendly & thorough. They explained everything, as they Checked my heater & I’m extremely happy that I contacted Aire Serv.
Mr. Odom was very friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable about using this new to us business. Thanks so much!
Since I began the service plan with Air Serv our air condition system has ran without any issues for the past couple of years. Before our service with Air Serv our system would break down every summer. Thank you Air Serv, Georgia gets too hot to lose AC during the summer!
The technician that came out for our diagnostic test was awkward and didn't seem to know how to explain things well. He didn't speak much at all, really. Didn't get a good feeling so I ended up going with another company.
Quick dispatch, technician was out in under an hour on a Saturday. Tech (Kenneth) was very knowledgeable. Quick turnaround on repair, system is working great.
The crack on my line didn't happen until your worker worked on my a.c. unit he disconnected power lines with my unit still on running which caused it to shake which cause the crack in my line I feel that he needs to repair my line and put Freon in it for free, I have video footage of him doing that and a witness that was there watching him doing that
