    Just Cooling was assigned a claim by my home warranty company (after it had to be reassigned from a different company). The techs that arrived (Eugene & Omar) were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They completed a thorough inspection of my heating unit and made the necessary repair, keeping me informed throughout the process.

    I inquired on line stating the problem my furnace is an automatic start but would not light and I was looking for a free estimate. I am female and we are often taken advantage by technicians/repairmen. This would also let me know if a company was inflating the problem and price. First challenge, I received a text with a two hour window, forty five minutes before the window ends I received another text stating the technician's enroute. Technician doesn't arrive, I call the office and am told the window is four hours. Second challenge, technician arrives and I'm immediately told there's a $65 service fee. Informed technician of my request of a free estimate. He said the girl in the office was new and made a mistake, informed him my request was online. Then I'm told the $65 fee would be applied to work if my system were repaired and the cost was under $180 anything over that I lose my $65 and if I chose not to repair. Also, he could light my furnace for $65, he didn't know I had been lighting the furnace myself for FREE. The problem was it should have been lighting on its own. After going back and forth and hearing all the excuses I told him I don't trust the company and would not use them. I was not trying to change the way they operate, had I known they did not offer free estimates, I never would have never agreed to the service call. I know companies don't change the way they do business for customers. I also know, I as a customer don't do business with companies that are not professional and expect me to accept terms that are completely opposite of what I requested. This is the very reason, I always get more than one estimate and it has to be free.

    We had a scheduled appointment between 11 to 3 for the technician to come out to our home. On the day of the appointment no technician ever showed up nor did the company call to reschedule or explain what happened. When we attempted to call from our main number it was continuously sent to voicemail. We decided to call from a different number and I was able to reach Jessica who also identified herself as the office manager and she shared that she was not sure what happened to our appointment and that the technician should’ve called. She then shared that they have the wrong address which they verified the correct one at the time of the appointment. If they would’ve called or answered the phone we could have gotten everything resolved. Jessica was extremely rude stating that she was not sure what happen with the technician and that she suggest that we go with another vendor. She did apologize for not making the appointment. The customer service Is not good and we decided to take her advice and go with another vendor. I am a doctor and taking a whole day off to wait for a company who dismisses customers is not how I want to spend my money.

    It took a few days for an appointment as we were going through Choice Home Warranty. Even though CHW denied our claim, the technician was very thorough in his inspection and his report to CHW. Just cooling explained the problem, gave us a price and was able to earn my business. They offered next day service and financing. Antoine called back to check on my satisfaction with their service when all was completed. Overall a good experience.
