I've used Davis AC for a few years. Chris is a fantastic technician. The reason for the three stars is not because of the work it's because of the prices. They are one of the most expensive companies in Palm Beach county. I had an emergency service call I got a hold of several people until they finally called me back. July 29th our compressor fan quit and every after-service company quoted me $149 emergency service call plus parts and labor to fix the unit. Davis AC quoted me $250 plus parts and labor. I decided to start pricing new units so I gave Davis AC the first opportunity they supplied me with an estimate of nearly $8,000 to replace my 3 ton unit with a new 3-ton unit. And I told them I would be getting estimates from two other companies. I used their estimate their model numbers supplied the model numbers to two other companies after they came out for the unit that I wanted both of the other companies were $6,200 for the same exact unit. While a couple of $100 is not a big deal $1,800 is huge. There's no reason their prices should be so much higher than their competitors. Because of the huge price difference I've decided to go with another company for my AC work. Again their work is phenomenal but their prices are insane

Repair man showed up. Diagnosed problem. Said parts no longer available, cannot be repaired. Just got second opinion, totally different diagnosis, said parts are avaiable and in their warehouse. Is being fixed as I am writing this. Same day service. Wasted money on service call.
Will never use again

I've used Davis twice in the last three years for repairs on my decade-old A/C system. They come out promptly, diagnose and fix the issue. The price is fair and the quality of the workmanship is excellent.

Service visit $95, labor $505, total $600 to replace motor blower that , btw, was on warranty (no parts included on price). No comment on labor but charge also for the visit, kinda of a reap off......First and LAST time !
