    We were on vacation and needed service. They came out and repaired the unit but charged 1000% mark-ups on the capacitor and contactor they replaced, items I can buy anywhere - exact OEM or the parts they used - for $20 each, they charged $200 each. I certainly understand the need to make money on parts, but jeese-o-pete guys, this seems extreme. Alas, after getting price rates for parts from some other AC service companies (no small feat BTW) I have found that your part pricing is competitive as compared to other companies. It doesn't do much for us consumers to know everyone is charging what appear to be crazy prices, but unless one can service the equipment themselves there isn't much people can do except pay it. I never meant for my post to inflame, but rather present the facts and my opinion that your parts pricing seemed high. A simple response that your part pricing was in-line with the local industry would certainly have been sufficient, without inferring I was somehow distorting the facts...which I did not. Caldeco is a good company, and after my research I can say I will continue to recommend them for quality ac and heating repair at a fair though - apparently industry wide - high price. Their techs have always been prompt, courteous, and thorough... and their work has been excellent. I apologize for any angst I may have caused in my original post, but please understand we are retired on a fixed income and try to be careful about spending. I don't know many people who wouldn't be concerned about 1000% mark-ups, but I also understand companies charging what the market will tolerate. Thank you for the good and prompt service.

    I could not have been more pleased with my AC maintenance provided by PJ this week. He was on time, extremely professional, and answered all of my questions as well as those regarding my air handler which is in my attic including taking pictures and sharing the before and after cleaning he had done.     I had a great experience with Caldeco. They send out representative that was on time and very professional. He gave me options and wasn't pushy. Once I made my decision, they sent out the installers who too were on time and very professional. They completed the job in the estimated time. They cleaned up and left me with nice cold air. I highly recommend using Caldeco and would refer to friends and family. Great service!!

    Caldeco installed our ac system a few years ago and have been the only ones to service it since. Last night's lightning storm did something to the system, since it froze up. It wouldn't operate. We're leaving on vacation in a couple of days. A desperate call to Caldeco early Saturday morning was returned fairly quickly. I explained the situation. They were understanding, and had a technician out within the hour on a Saturday! He diagnosed the problem (burnt-out motor), explained that it would be replaced under warranty, and as soon as Parts opened on Monday we could schedule it. He double-checked the rest of the unit to be sure that was the only problem. Great response, quality technical skill, stand behind their product, and more than anything, made me feel like they genuinely value me as a customer. I highly, highly recommend them... couldn't be happier with an ac company.
