    The technician was so pleasant, professional, and did a comprehensive evaluation of our equipment. When doing routine maintenance he discovered the unit had had a power surge at some point since the last visit, and he showed me how 1 wire was nearly melted and another part damaged. So glad he did such a thorough inspection. He had the needed parts on the truck so was able to do the repairs during the maintenance visit. Have used Caldeco for over 20 years and have never been disappointed in their service!

    It started with a courtesy reminder call the day before my scheduled Quarterly A/C and Heating Service. Carlos Mejia Morales was the technician that day. He was right on time. As a matter of fact I slowed him down by failing to let him know my door bell isn't working.. Carlos was very focused and thorough with his work. He was very concerned about my wife and my safety from potential Covid (mask, distance, etc.). Carlos showed tremendous respect toward my wife, me and our home. Caldeco has always sent very professional technicians to my home. Carlos is at the top! Thank you!

    Lets be straight with the facts... The total bill was $454.00, $89 of which was the service charge. You billed $162.00 for the 45/5, 370 vAC capacitor I can get the OEM GE part from Amazon for $15...1080% mark-up. You billed $203 for the single pole, 30 amp contactor w/24 vAC coil, again I can get the OEM Carrier/Tyco part for $15 at Amazon... a 1353% mark-up. There was only one capacitor charged on the invoice. The comments are truly warranted, and I would appreciate if you told the truth when trying to refute my accusations. I can post the invoice and the links for parts pricing if you want to go that route. I am in the process of checking with other service providers to compare your mark-ups to others in the area, but in the mean time, you might try to not lie in a public forum...it really looks bad and can ruin the possibility of future trust.

    Tech was scheduled for routine maintenance and showed up on time. As it turned out visit turned into a repair as the compressor wouldn’t kick in. Tech found the problem in short order, called the office for a parts availability and price check, and within the hour two associates showed up with the new board! Unit functioning perfectly when he left. Great company with knowledgeable people and outstanding service! I’ve used them before and will again.

    First of all, I would like to give Kudos to Gerson Leal for always doing a phenomenal job. He speaks to you and let you know what he’s gonna do, what he finds, what we can do, answers all our questions provides information to us regarding the filter we need to have. He is very polite and professional. I would like to keep Gerson as our a/c maintenance professional. You must be proud of him due to He is an asset to your company.

    My AC is only 2 years old and wasn't turning on correctly. I thought, given the age, that it would be a minor problem to fix. I called Caldeco because they were well-reviewed and when I spoke to the initial scheduler on the phone, I let him know it was due for annual maintenance and I wanted to see if someone could come out, look at the unit, and perform the annual maintenance to see if this would fix the problem. The scheduler said it was no problem and would get someone out the next day. I thought I'd be tacking on an extra service call fee but would be well worth it to get everything done efficiently.
    They came out the next day, and were very timely. The service technician let me know that the condensate line needed to be cleaned and so I thought great, that is part of the annual maintenance and I will have my issues fixed. I then get an invoice for just the cost of the service visit and line cleaning (89 and 158, respectively) and a note that says I declined the tune up. I quickly call the technician before he leaves and he says that he can't perform tune ups that it is a different department. So at the end of the day I am happy that they fixed the problem, were on time, and were pleasant to deal with. I am disappointed about the poor communication from the initial scheduler. He could have let me know that they were different departments and asked if I wanted a tune up or service call. He could have let me know the service person would not be able to perform a tune up.
