Dominic and his buddy did an excellent job on replacing my old water heater. Also I’m so happy with the replacement that they installed. It’s a commercial grade and has a tough and good quality. I highly recommend this guy and this company 👌🏼
I knew that I needed a larger AC for my house, I was just waiting for my old AC to die. Drew came out to my house to confirm that she was actually dead and offered me some options. I decided to finally get the larger AC. The sales process was super easy (Thanks Drew!) The two guys that came out the next day to install (Nick and Osmond) were amazing and paid great attention to detail. I am very happy with how easy and effortless this whole process has been.
So far so good. We called Acree out to get a second opinion on some plumbing repairs as we are in the midst of a full kitchen remodel project. Joe and Angelo came out to give us some experience and expertise in this area. A different plumbing company around the Corner left us disappointed. We scheduled to have Jeremy come out and run a camera through the line before proceeding. Glad we did. The had Allan and Angelo come out to mill and jet the line. We are close to the finish line now. Jeremy will come back and run his fancy camera again set up the repair since we found a hole in the line and then his next crew will be out tomorrow to run the new water lines. Thanks guys, great team of people and know their trade very well. Glad we called Acree.
Would recommend Acree to anyone. They were able to come out in the evening to give us a quote, explain the process and how long it would take. Alex & Johann were very professional and answered all my questions on what work needed to be done and the costs. They went above my expectations by bringing temp air units out to the house when the work couldn't be finished that night. Was super impressed by them. Would recommend and will use them again.
I heard a hissing sound in our house, like the water wasn't turning off so I called Acree because they had the highest ratings on the web. Big mistake! The plumber Patrick was responsive and friendly enough, but definitely played up the drama, making it seem like the leak was disastrous. He referred us to another professional to locate the leak. $300 later, the leak was found. The "Leak Finder" assured me that the damage was minimal and would be easy to fix. Patrick was back promptly the following day, however to our shock, he told us we'd be charged $1800 to fix the leak and potentially up to $2500 if there were any hiccups. We were taken aback and questioned the price. He assured us that any plumber in town would charge that amount, stating that plumbing was one of the most expensive trades. We should have stopped right there and gotten a second opinion! Instead, I gave the go ahead to remedy the problem. He then told me that he'd have his field rep come out to discuss options. The field rep, Riccardo then came out and assessed the whole house to repipe it, stating that our copper pipes were too old and that pipe leaks would start happening more and more. He stated that the work Patrick was currently doing to fix the pipes might only buy us 2 months, especially if we didn't install a water softener and filtration system right away. He stated the sediment from our hard water was damaging the pipes (which I found out later was false). We got quotes ranging from $5,000-15,000 for installing a new softener/filtration system and to repipe the house. The prices seem incredibly high so we called another plumber to the house. He assessed the damages and told us he would have charged $600 to repair the leak. He also quoted us $4000 to repipe the house and $1,000 for a water softener and filtration system. Outraged, we called ACREE and worked with the Service Manager Barry. He was responsive and right away offered us a $500 discount. Barry stated that they charge $240 per hour for labor which contributed to the $1800 cost!! We then looked at the receipt we were given which had zero itemization, but invoiced us $1800 for "slab repair", no slab was ever touched during this service. In the end, Barry returned half the money or $900. We still are not happy with this as we had already paid $300 to detect the leak. Ultimately we are $1200 in the hole for services that should have only cost us $600. To boot, our cat was trapped in the sweltering heat of the carport for two days unbeknownst to us, because the field rep Riccardo went up there while casing our house for upgrades. Don't be fooled by their great reviews and 55+ years of service this company will rake you over the coals with a smile on their face! We are reporting to BBB!
Tyler Harlow was extremely professional and helpful. I really appreciated that he immediately put booties on when entering our home. He was able to trouble shoot the main plumbing issue with our water heater while also addressing some additional concerns. He was very knowledgeable about our unit and provided some helpful information. The issue required electrical repairs so Tyler immediately called to schedule an electrician to come out the same day. I would definitely recommend Tyler for any plumbing needs.
Tom Griffin did an amazing job. My wife and I would recommend him to anyone. He was very personable, polite and punctual. He cleaned up after himself and wouldn’t let me lift a finger to help. He has great customer service skills. Great job in hiring him.
I've been contacted by operations manager Cameron Hast. He helped me figure out my bathroom issue which is very appreciated. The techs Aaron and Archer were great as well. Mr. Hast gave me a direct line of communication to him, ensuring that HE will now be taking lead on the finishing of this project. This sounded great. But still, nothing has be done about the main problem. He called once saying the coordinator would call me with an update that evening. Big surprise - the coordinator never called. Because ACREE coordinator Rachel failed to do her job, Ive had a gaping hole in my driveway for almost 2 months and because it has not received inspection, I cannot obtain a reasonable/sensible home insurance, so now crazy EXPENSIVE home insurance has now been placed on us by mortgage company.
ACREE's $16,000 failure is now costing me even more money. I was PROMISED this would be fixed. I was PROMISED this would get better. My next step is looking into a lawyer. This is going too far.
James is an awesome technician outgoing with an impeccable manner a total professional in every sense of the word! :-) He explained to me the plan they had for tuneups twice a year the gold plan and I saved some money on the part that was installed for the condenser unit that it was not functioning properly. I will be saving money so we can pay cash for a new unit next year since this one is 20 years old but it still does what is supposed to do which is keeping my house at a comfortable temperature.
Dan was absolutely fantastic..but Acree is absolutely ridiculous on their price..invoice says it was difficult to get at..hmmm i already had everything apart for them..my light was in there my wet vacuum was there..and they charged me almost 600 dollars because of it..Again Dan was great..I wouldn't buy anything from Acree unless it is absolutely necessary. After this I sure I wouldn't by a AC unit from them because it will cost you more then anywhere else. In the pic you will see what I had already done for them. All they had to do was fix the pipe
