Bryan diagnosed just from the sound of the AC that the capacitor has failed. After replacing the capacitor he proceeded to 1) shorten the length of the drainage outlet so it is closer to the ground for easier discharge and 2) he optimized the settings on the air handler by connecting to it using his app.

He did not have to do either of those. He went the extra mile for free because IMO the professional in him could not bear to ignore the glaring issues. He also educated me on some other oversight on my fairly new installation by another company.

I now have a much quieter AC because he took the time to optimize the air handler settings. Thank you Bryan.
