We trust our Bryant HVAC system to Northern Air and have always been thrilled with the decision. Today we needed routine maintenance and also we asked for our new smart thermostat to be installed. Ryan & Nate arrived on time and efficiently & effectively checked our two HVAC units and installed the thermostat. We highly recommend Northern Air, and in particular Ryan, a very skilled technician. Five Stars!

The manager and employees of this business are highly racist against African American people. I was called racial slurs by an employee, who almost hit my car with company equipment, and when I made the manager aware, he chose not to address his employee. Instead, he told me that I was trespassing and to get off the property as the employee stepped closer to me as to further reiterate what his manager just said. Extremely hostile and degrading interaction.

I was invited to observe Northern Air perform service at my daughter and son in laws home, because I retired after working in HVAC for over fifty years. I was impressed with the attention to detail that I observed while they coaxed additional cooling out of the original A/C unit for this house. When it was time to replace the unit, Northern Air again preformed excellently. They produced a quality installation that is providing more cooling, more economically then the original unit.

Northern Air sets the bar for AC work in Pinellas County, whether it's AC repair work or new AC installation. My family has been using them for the past 20 years and they have never let us down (we wouldn't have continued using them otherwise).

Most recently had a whole new setup installed in our home, AC and ductwork. The results were better than I imagined, our new setup is 60-70% more efficient than our prior setup. Plus, we got a cool smart thermostat!

Outstanding people and outstanding service, look no further if you're looking for AC work.

TL;DR: Called them to replace compressor, they replaced it, and the new compressor broke again within 3 days, they are refusing the refund my money or repair the AC free of charge.

I had a compressor on my AC short circuited and called Northern Air. They have replaced it, however the new compressor broke within 3 days. The unit was making very loud noises right before it broke, so it seems like some freon related issue.

I've called them back to fix it, and they are supposed to have a 30 days Labor guarantee, however, they are claiming that they are not going to honor it and want me to pay again to replace the compressor ones again. They are arguing that the compressor is not their fault and is due to voltage issues in my house. They even advised me to call Duke energy and get my refund from them, LOL!

I think they messed up and now trying to shift the blame and firmly denying to reimburse me.

Also, they have overcharged me by 1 hour. My camera clearly shows that they've spent a bit less than 2.5 hours at my property, but they have charged me 3.5 hours.

So, please beware!

Northern Air has been my AC service provider for 20 years. They have always been responsive to my requests for service. They fix the problem the first time. Last week I called them at 4:00AM. They called me back soon after that and had Ryan come out by 10:00AM. It took him just a few minutes to trouble shoot and fix the problem! I was very happy about that!

A few years ago When I needed to replace the two A/C units, Nothern Air sold me “top-of-the-line” Bryant unit for less than the competition. They have always been a reliable partner that helps me ensure our home is comfortable.

We've had Northern Air put in new a/c systems at 2 of our homes and were very pleased with the service and products they provided us with. Everyone was very thorough and knowledgeable about the jobs they were performing. I prefer shopping and using small businesses when I can and with Northern Air being family owned and operated are my first choice to call and refer people too!

Garlan put a new air handler in garage.5 months ago.been leaking since since the day i paid him..total garbage installation..having some one repair today..after inspection fiund that they never finished taping duct board to top of handler all the wau around it..have pucs to verify...WOW...

I've had Northern Air service several units on my own properties and projects I've worked on. They have been very professional and their technicians are very knowledgeable and know how to diagnose the units to get them running again. Most importantly they have shown up when they said they would. I would recommend them and plan on using them again.
