Essential Air

I quoted several contractors and ultimately decided to work with Charlie at Essential Air. In addition to having a GREAT quote, I felt most comfortable with him. He relocated two Heat Pumps from the rear of my house to the side of my house. He also arranged an electrician to install two new disconnects. He was very flexible and accommodating. Wish all contractors were as easy to work with.

I picked essential air because all the good reviews and the fact we live a mile apart. Charlie was very easy to schedule with and showed up on time. I called as a second opinion from my regular guy that is getting old. Charlie did a very thorough checkup and figured out the issue I was having. His service call and freon charge was very fair. I think I found my new AC guy. If you like supporting a small local company that is honest and fair priced I suggest you give him a call when needed.

Needed to have someone come and look at our AC because it does not cool completely in the house. Had someone from a bigger company came and quoted $2,620 of work to do now, $4,100 for system rejuvenate in the future, and advised us to buy a new AC in general.
Called Charlie because of the good recommendations on I Love St. Pete, he came within 3 hours, explained to us throughly about what’s going on and gave tips on keeping the house cool. $185 total. I’m so glad we called for a second opinion.

Charles is the best guy in Pinellas county when it comes to anything HVAC. He is so honest and reliable that he is the guy you call for a second opinion to keep the A/C guys honest!

Charlie was able to inspect and repair our older AC unit. He helped it run more efficiently and reduce energy consumption. He was also able to give great advice to improve efficiency of our house. Professional, honest, and friendly service!

The A/C at the rental property I was staying at was turning on, but the air was not cold.
Charlie was able to come by the next morning. The system was low on refrigerant. He explained that there’s likely a leak in the system and it’d be most cost effective to just replace the system.
But since we are just here another couple weeks, he was able to refill the refrigerant (for a charge) to hold us over until the landlord decides what she wants to do. Thank you, Charlie!

I am a property manager and called Charly on a holiday for an emergency service on one of my rentals. This is my first time using Essential Air but it will not be my last! His after hour rates were more than fair, service was prompt.
