Order a unit on April 14. Tried to contact many times via phone, email and even Amazon store and I couldn't get someone to call me back. There's no excuse for going silent. We can all answer emails and phones from home. I will have to contact my bank to dispute the charge on my card which was charged right away but unit was never shipped and it's May 30 today.
I still have not received the wall sleeve or aluminum grill from an order from July 6th. Its over a month now. I have an ac/heat unit that I cant install sitting here in the July and August heat. I ordered from here because the unit I wanted was listed as in stock on the website and I needed it asap. It ended up being out of stock. They also dont tell you on the website that the wall sleeve and aluminum grille ship from the manufacturer which would be nice to now to avoid being in my current situation. There is zero customer service. No one ever answers the phone or gets back to you in any way. You never know what is actually happening.. if anything. This company is terrible and I will never use them again. I never write reviews online and I will make sure this bad review is everywhere possible.
If you want your unit in a timely fashion, use someone else. If you want any customer service, then use someone else. Unit shipped well outside their expected 7 day maximum. No response to calls or emails. I'm a contractor and certainly won't be using these useless lot again!
Update: I finally got in contact with them via the chat feature on their website and they were very helpful.
I purchased a mini split but got the wrong length of install kit tubing. I sent my first email to try and get a replacement over a month and a half ago and have still not been able to get a response from these people. It seems they have abandoned their business.
Would recommend highly. Ordered new furnace and central air unit. The company kept me updated on shipping. Units came on time one small problem with conversion kit. QUICKLY addressed and settled. Again if you’re looking for a new system you won’t be disappointed.
Do not use!!!! I ordered a unit from this company that had conflicting information in the website. the website stated the unit was multi position but turned out to be vertical only. after bringing this information to heat and cool the manager called me a liar and said it was my fault and i was responsible for paying for the replacement. after i hung up they decided to change the website to add the word vertical. when i confronted the manager with this information he denied that they changed the website and said it was my fault for ordering the wrong unit. (please see attached screenshots) . luckily for me Goodman came to the rescue and offered to pay for the cost of replacing the parts necessary to make my unit work with my configuration. (THANK YOU Goodman FOR CARING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS). bad news is that even with Goodmans help Heat&Cool has still not sent me the replacement part necessary after 2 weeks since i sent the wrong parts back to them. Also i noticed that many folks on this review board have had similar experiences and i wish that this review had shown up when i was looking at Heat&cool initially, however the google reviews for heat and cool don't seem to show up for some reason and i wish they had because i would not have used them. hopefully this review can spare someone else the same fate. in conclusion i followed all the right steps, i went to the manufacture website to verify who was an authorized dealer and found heat and cool that way, also the website at first glance was well put together and seemed professional, however after making the purchase i soon found out that nothing was what it seemed to be.
Wow, these guys take unprofessional to a new level. Put an order in on the 6th, a week later I hadn’t heard anything about ETA so I started emailing and calling them. I sent them at least 5 emails, and called them as many times. Never got a single response, and never got thru to a human being in customer service. I finally had to cancel the order two weeks later as I had no idea what was going on with their end of things. I couldn’t even get them to acknowledge my cancelation and had to open a complaint with PayPal.What a waste of time!
Purchased the wrong unit for my application. Their website states 60 day returns. Have not been able to get any satisfaction in attempting to return the unit and purchase what I need. Do NOT use this outfit. Buyer beware.
Ordered on June 13 and no response after multiple phone calls/voicemails/emails. I also happened to have a large fraud charge on the same credit card the day after I disputed my charge with these clowns. Don’t make the same mistake, go somewhere else and avoid these people.
I purchased a heat pump system from HeatAndCool, and dealt with an excellent sales rep, Yosbany. He researched several items for me that required him to make several special efforts and each time got back to me with the correct answers. This was GREAT service and I appreciate the work involved. And I got a great deal, too... how can you beat that?!!
