Robby was excellent in diagnosing, repairing and replacing the coil on my AC unit. He cleaned the drain and removed debris. He explained what he did and why he did it. I was pleased with the service and how he assisted with the warranty on the unit. Robby provided great service and I look to hopefully have him provide ongoing maintenance.

I wish I could recommend this company but I cannot. I had their sales team come out to my house in 2019 and the sales person recommended I buy a higher end Lennox system for my home. I paid roughly $7,500 for a new AC to be put into my home.

Within a year, water started dripping down into my hall way. I called to have them come out (they said it was included for the first year) but they said it was a weekend so it would cost $120 for them to come out plus whatever the cost of the repair. Instead I got a shop vac and a ladder and climbed in the attic myself to find the drip pan completely full of water. I drained it myself but had them come out anyways after the weekend to check and they said the pipe was completely clogged. They fixed it then asked me to renew my maintenance for another $175 or so. I did. That was about a month or two months ago. I went on vacation this past week to come home to my house being 83 degrees inside. I called them for after hours service and this time paid to have them come out on Sunday. The technician came out and was apologetic but says 2 different pipes broke, causing all refrigerant to leak out, as well some valve needed for the heater to kick on. They "waived" a bunch of random fees to make it seem more palatable but said even though the pipe is under warranty, the refrigerant isn't, so it was $300 for refrigerant + the cost of labor. Then they said the valve is under warranty but the labor to put it back in is another $400ish dollars, not covered by the warranty.

All this to be said, I paid $7,500 for their recommended "high end" AC unit, only to put over $1,000 into the system within a year and them saying "some people are just unlucky." I'd like to recommend the company as their technicians are nice and friendly and I know it's not their fault but I cannot help but feel like I just got swindled. If it continues down this path, it may be cheaper for me to install a different HVAC system rather than shelling out $1000 a year for them to fix issues. I am sure other companies in the area would stand behind their products and labor more than what Thorpe has done for me.

This is the first time we used your company for our AC repair . . . and we were very pleased at all times. Our AC went out last evening and it was extremely difficult for these two 85+ years seniors to keep going . My husband was in the hospital and arrived home from the Re-hab a few days ago so you can imagine what we were dealing with. Your technician, Abe, arrived on time and quickly started working on the AC while the PT and Nurse took care of his medical needs. Abe was very polite and patiently explained, and fixed, the problem. Please be assured that with employees such as Abe, we will recommend you to others and call again when our AC needs service. Thank you.

We had our HVAC system replaced by Mason and Sebastian and they were great! We’ve used this company multiple times in the past for repairs and have always had great service. Highly recommend this company.

After a serious mishap by a new tech 'Phil' the previous day, Robby answered my after hour call Friday night. He apologized several times and promised to fix the problem the very next day. In fact, he came Saturday morning letting me know first that he was running a little late and apologized for this. Once he arrived at my place, he climbed up to the attic (I was behind him) and immediately spotted the problem. Then he repositioned the loose outgoing PVC line, purged it and cleaned the water condensation in it. In addition, he took care of other details. Before leaving my place, Robby explained to me different aspects of the equipment maintenance. This guy is really an asset to Thorpe Heating and Cooling.

Don't use their services! For the simple fact the drivers don't know how to drive company vehicles. The driver and companion of the vehicle shown, decided to stop traffic on their own in the middle of a school street, to let their kids hop out, and cross the street. For future reference, there is a car drop off lane that this is used for. This prevents children being struck by vehicles in the roadway, and prevents accidents of suddenly stopping traffic. But for some reason Thorpe employees don't care about the safety of children...
