I called to get a second opinion because Scott's One Hour Air was charging me $2700 for the coil and compressor to be replaced and that was LABOR Only! Elliott answered the phone and was very supportive and informational and was able to get a technician out that same day. Robby showed up about 2 hours after the phone call, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He did confirm that both the compressor and coil needed to be replaced but I was quoted substantially less than $2700. Because of these two gentleman Thorpe is a company you can trust to get the service you need. I would recommend this company anytime.

I moved into a home that had an AC unit installed by Thorpe in April of 2020. I have scheduled maintenance visits twice now and I can say that not only are the technicians always extremely professional and friendly, as well as the Accounts Receivable department incredibly understanding and very responsive, but I have to rave about the Service Coordinators!! They are the absolute best. I've worked with Elliott B. a few times now and he is always so friendly and relatable, while also being professional and getting the job done. Any time I have called, I have been responded to quickly and any questions or issues are answered and resolved by the time I'm off the phone. Being a new home owner, this stuff can be a lot, and I just have to thank Thorpe in Lakeland, FL because they have made this part of being a home owner so easy. I recommend 10/10 for any AC needs you may have and look forward to another year with Thorpe.

I have been a customer of Thorpe Heating & Cooling for a number of years, but I have never written a review. Not because their performance was not good, they were simply boring i.e. timely, knowledgeable, etc., all perform, professionally by older individuals. However this week I had a service problem and when the doorbell rang, I was greeted by a young woman, Lorraine, and a young man, Joqn. Over the next couple of hours I witnessed an energy and cheerful outlook that I had not seen in previous Thorpe service calls. Lorraine and Joqn preformed the service as skillfully and professionally as Thorpe Technicians in the past, but with more personality and positivity that had been lacking previously.

Thorpe is still an excellent service provider, but these young technicians make a significant difference.

Thorpe did a great job installing my new Amana heat pump. Chris, the Comfort Consultant, guided me thru available systems and made it easy to compare and select the Amana unit. Then Mason, Angelo, and Sebastian did the installation. It was an especially tough job with the handler being in the attic crawlspace on a very hot August day. But each was professional, thorough, and courteous. Great teamwork all around. This is my second heat pump installation by Thorpe folks, the first over 11 years ago at my former residence. I knew they would be the guys for replacing the old unit at my new place.

We had a new AC installation a week ago and it is working great. Mason and Justin were very friendly and professional and kept us informed on the progress throughout the day. We would like to thank Mason and Justin as well as Chris and Nelson for their service and help with our new AC unit. We are very happy with Thorpe Heating and Cooling, have used them for many years and will continue to use them in the future.

My system died Tuesday night. After leaving a message at 10pm, I got a call back at 7:00 am on Wednesday morning to schedule an appointment. Sadly, I needed to replace my HVAC system, but Chris was able to quickly and efficiently provide me with solid replacement options with an install appointment 8:30 am on Thursday. You can't beat that speed in a Florida summer! The professionals who installed the system, Angelo, Mason, and Sebastian, were incredible! They installed the system super quick, were clean, courteous, and knowledgeable. Go nowhere else. This outfit is the best in the business.

We are very impressed with the service we experienced today with Thorpe Heating &Cooling today. Mason, Nelson, Lorrain and Josh were very professional as they dealt with the Florida heat today while installing our new Lennox unit. They were courteous and swift installing the unit as the worked as a team to install and clean up before leaving our home. Great team work and thank you for being professional, on time, and respectful of our hole while installing our new unit.

Thorpe Heating & Cooling is a stand up company with true professionals who really care about their customers. We were victims of an unlicensed con artist who put in a faulty AC unit that broke down 4 months after install and refused to make any repairs himself. Thorpe Heating & Cooling came out to assess the problem and make repairs for us at a great rate with discounts. Elliott and Dustin are the 2 gentleman that we dealt with mostly and they went above and beyond to help us with a bad situation caused by someone else. In the future we will ALWAYS verify our service providers and Thorpe Heating & Cooling has a customer for life! Special thanks to Dustin for coming out on short notice to remove and replace the AC coil! :)
