Thorpe Heating & Cooling

I recently replaced my Air system on an emergency basis and was pleased to meet Chris, the Comfort Advisor from Thorpe Heating & Cooling. He was extremely knowledgeable, taught me some things I didn't know and guided me to a system that did so much more than what I had. Two days later the install team of Dakota and Brett arrived with and professionally installed the new system. Led by Dakota they not only did a great job but corrected a long-term problem I never knew existed, further improving my system's performance. I later had a questions about connecting my phone to the internet thermostat, Robby arrived to show me what I had to do. Everyone I met from Thorpe turned out to be the first class type of person you want on your team.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Thorpe Heating and Cooling. I myself am a business owner and was mortified when in the middle of the Florida heat my A/C stopped working. I called Thorpe frantically and they had a service person there the following day. Elliot was so patient in answering my phone calls and Robbie my service man was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. If you EVER have a problem with your a/c please call this business! You will not be disappointed.

Our a/c was well beyond its time. We have always known about Thorpe as we live in the same area. We called them on a Monday, Chris came to our home Tuesday and by Thursday, same week, Dakota and Brett were here by 8 am to start the job. They spent every bit of 12 1\2 hours replacing everything but the duct work. This included electrical and drain line.
Chris on Tuesday provided us with 4 options from basic to efficiency, financing done on site.
Dakota and Brett was exceptional, professional and awesome.
Hometown business proves to be the best to go to once more.

We called for an after-hours emergency repair. Dustin arrived quickly, and he knew exactly what to do. He was very nice and a joy to talk to. We highly recommend Thorpe AC.

Not happy they charged me $853.00 for the ac blower motor and also the service call fee of $69.00. Most companies waive the service call fee if you do the repair with them. I also have the PSA membership but that obviously didn’t help. The technician was very nice and did his job well. Not happy with the pricing and membership treatment. I called once I received the invoice but no help there.

My experience with Thorpe and their technicians has been excellent. Unlike others I have experienced, Thorpe will not stop until your problems have been resolved. If you are looking for highly trained professionals you should call Thorpe. Extra stars go to Robby, Jerry, Nelson and Elliott, as well as their office staff for going above and beyond to take care of the issues I had.

I have been using Thorpe Heating and Cooling for 12 years to maintain my AC. They are always honest and offer great customer service. Robby, one their AC techs, in the past year has done the normal maintenance and always fixes or replaces parts that are because of normal wear and tear. I recommend Thorpe Heating & Cooling without any reservations. Consumer beware of other AC techs of other heating and AC repair businesses in Polk County who are quick to convince you to buy a new AC unit ,which I found out andare trained to do so, which is why I switched to Thorpe 12 years ago.
