RDK Air conditioning and heating LLC

I have a 7 yr old system. Two AC companies told me I had a catastrophic leak and it would cost approx $1500 to $1600 to recharge the coolant and put in a dye pack to find the leak. They said it was most likely the coil but couldn't say without the dye pack. So, i started getting bids for a whole new system. RDK is one of the companies I asked to quote me a new system. They came out to do that but really wanted to make sure they understood the problem. They offered a test that is not as good as a dye pack at detecting pin hole leaks but it was $200 so I said do it. They found the leak outside at the compressor so not the coil. Glad I didn't buy a new air handler! The temp has held steady since the repair. I know that they cannot guarantee that there isn't another leak somewhere but their willingness to spend time explaining things to me and desire to find the real problem really stood out among the other companies I asked for quotes.

My ac died yesterday, I called a company I had used previously but upselling seemed to be what they most wanted to do. My x13 evaporator motor had died, and they recommended a new ac system. My system is just 7 years old. I decided on 2nd opinion, based on recommendation from previous neighbor (now retired electrician) I called after 9pm, they were right on time at 8am this morning. Their pricing was great, and it was installed an hour ago, very happy with Corey (thank you) and RDK for resolving my issue in a professional and timely manner! Highly recommend**********

I made the decision to call RDK based on the positive reviews and nearly 5-star ratings on Google and boy did I make the right decision in using this business. I called on a Monday morning after experiencing some issues with my unit over the weekend, the receptionist was very polite and professional in assisting me with placing a service request. She was able to get a tech, Joe, out same day! Joe was schedule to come out between 3P-4P and ended up knocking on my door an hour early! Joe was very professional and did not try to upsell me, plus added bonus, he was in and out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this business for your heating and cooling needs!

The moment Nada answered the phone she was so helpful and gracious. She understood my urgency and had a technician at my home within a few hours. Excellent service - took time to explain what was wrong and how it would be repaired.

I have used 3 different AC companies in the last month for different properties. RDK was the most responsive, polite, accommodating, informative company out of the three. I will definitely use them in the future for service and repair. I will also have them on my short list for quotes for my next purchase of a new system. Marco was my technician and he was superb. He was cordial, yet not over bearing. Great guy!

Great install but a month or two before they will come back to fix an installation problem. This happened to me twice so its not a fluke. Very poor follow-up for installation problems. VERY unhappy with this company's response. for repairs.

RDK was able to resolve my problem.
I understand from the technician this was a follow-up that got lost due to an office move. I have adjusted my ratings to reflect that. I am very happy with the my AC Unit installation, I appreciated the extra mile this company went to get me the grill on the first ticket. I would not hesitate to call on them in the future The company's installation is excellent no question there.

From start to finish what a great experience. Our unit went out overnight so in the morning we were referred by a friend and we are so glad to have called!! The young lady that answered the phone immediately set us up to have a technician at our place within 3 hours. Charlie showed up promptly as expected and was knowledgeable, professional and thorough with explaining what we needed to fix. He repaired it within the hour and we were back to normal by dinner. We use RDK for our rental properties and our business. They are great. Always quick to respond, great customer service and technicians and we have always been pleased with their service.

This is the most professional company I’ve ever dealt with , I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a new AC or just service !
After I chose to go with them they couldn’t get to me for a week so they came out on their own and got my AC that had broken up and running until my new one came in, Ken was amazing and so determined to get my old one working.
Everyone that has come out from the owner, to the service manager, to the installation crew have been so dedicated to take care of our AC needs !
I also have to mention Diana in the office for all of her help too !
