I called Tammy in the office right when they opened and explained my situation to her and she immediately went to the schedule to get someone over to me. She sent Khoi who was precisely on time. In less than an hour my problem was fixed and my AC was blowing ice cold air. I didn't even miss one minute of work. Very satisfied and Air Care is definitely my company going forward.

About a year ago, we had a new Rheem HVAC system installed. At the time, our AC system was constantly running, our energy bills were high (especially in the summer!), and the thermostat never reached our desired temperature. We called Air Care, and a technician was out the very next day to look at our AC, and another team the following day to install a new unit. The experience from start to finish was wonderful, and we use Air Care for our system check-ups right before our hot summers. Thank you!

Air Care replaced my 16 yr. old Air Conditioner that they installed. The AC techs were very professional. they put it in an acceptable time and cleaned up after themselves. I hope this unit lasts as long as my old one. I also have them come out every year for a tune up, I think that is very helpful for longevity.

Tammy is GREAT!!!! I had another company come out and gave me an estimate of $1300 to replace my air handler blower fan, after charging me a $95 diagnostic fee, (No problem with the diagnostic fee).
I called Air Care and Tammy answered and she asked me questions, and got me a quote on a new replacement motor (Rescue Motor). $385 and she explained it is pretty easy to change it out, so that's what I did. Tammy saved me $900 and I can't thank her enough. I will recommend Air Care from now on! THANK YOU!!

My air conditioner drain line backed up on a Saturday and I called Air Care to see if they would come out as I was concerned of drywall damage. They were very accommodating and sent a technician out within the hour. They cleared the line and helped me clean up the remaining water. I am now a loyal customer. I will be calling them when I need A/C work.

I very much appreciated the initial inspection. Larry came by and inspected everything, left no stone un-turned, as they say. I was going to buy an entire new AC unit and he simply explained all the pros and cons and based on the age of my unit recommended I simply find the problem and get that fixed, which he then promptly found.

I appreciated that he showed me the problem with the unit. Was patient with my ignorance throughout the inspection, with my questions and curiosity. He also explained the consequences of having had this developing issue of loss of Freon. Explained it was a poison and was leaking into my house for several months, pounds of it.

Instead of paying for a new AC unit Air Care replaced the coil and lines. They checked over everything, were super quiet while doing so and did not leave big mess. They came back a week later and adjusted the amount of Freon and the unit is working like new. Would recommend them anywhere.

I would like to add that their installer is super nice, super well mannered and was a pleasure to speak with.

The key word I would use with Air-Care is: Competent. Thank you Larry, Khoi and Tammy!

Fast, knowledgeable and honest. If you live in the Tampa Bay area these are the best Air Conditioning repair company. I woke up this morning and was sweating. Sometime in the middle of the night my houses AC stopped cooling. I called Air Care and the owner Larry took care of me. I coordinated with Judy and the tech Gary and they talked with me every step of the way. I setup the appointment the same day (today) and they stayed in touch with me and made the appointment. Within 20 minutes of Gary arriving to my house it was blowing cold again. Will never go to anyone else now that I found Air Care!

Air Care Heating & Air Conditioning has No Concern for Customer & is Not Good at Diagnosing Issue. Air Care came out to check my AC when it was cooling, but not well. The technician was nice, but not thorough. He took my garden hose and said he cleaned out the drain line that is outside. He also poured something down the line at the unit. For this 15 minutes, Air Care charged $187.50. I let him know this was steep, as other people in the complex paid a lot less for cleaning the drain line. He confirmed maintenance, which he said was around $70, would have had more processes done. He said I didn’t schedule a maintenance and I guess he did not want to perform those services, since he was getting over double the cost. The woman who called to follow up the next day, was very unpleasant when I told her that I felt Air Care over charged for just cleaning the line. She kept trying to justify the expense and did not like it when I disagreed. She verified they charged a service call – even thought their website has ”FREE Service Call with Repairs” I left it, knowing that Air Care does not care about repeat business or care about customer service. I have told anyone I see that they should NEVER CALL Air Care for service. I guess if Air Care’s technician had checked the unit, he would have found the actual problem. It turned out there was more wrong with the unit and I had McConnell Air Conditioning come out – HIGHLY RECOMMEND McConnell Air Conditioning. I have to assume Air Care would like to charge another service charge and continue to gauge a client, until the client wises up and calls another company.

I was visiting my parents with whom recently moved into Pembrook Apartments when I too noticed how hot and muggy their place was. Due to the fact that they are Renters, the unit owner makes all service arrangements and company selections for such.
That said, within 24hours of initial service request, a very, very nice technician named Dwight came out to evaluate situation at which point we were told an entire new unit and thermostat was needed. Well the unit itself we were told takes up to 48hours to obtain. On Monday, 11-13, at 9a promptly, we were greeted by 2 great technicians that worked very hard for 3/4 of the day to install new unit, and new thermostat. After install was complete, they tested everything including the heat and even the owner Larry came by to inspect. I am very pleased with the fast and friendly service my parents were given and this says a lot considering we have been residents of Pinellas County, FL for 40+ years and have very bad experiences at the home We owned for almost 30 years, with Glenn Moon!! $10,000 wasted and trusses cut when they should've never been cut to begin with!!!
We highly recommend Air Care Hearing & Air Conditioning!!! 5 Stars for sure!!
