Direct Cooling replaced a blower motor on our Rheem AC unit. The tech arrived as scheduled, was professional, performed the repair without issue and the labor charge was reasonable. I would recommend their work to others.
Following the previous repair, I contracted DC to install a new AC unit in our home. Found the owner and his installer to be pleasant, however, the attention to detail was lacking. Was left with sub par cooling for 2 days as blower set to low and they did not return to change this after complaint. Wife was not happy with them or me for hiring such a non caring company. Cracked drain pan replacement was not installed with proper side insulation so air was blowing around coil. I installed my own insulation on the sides as I did not want them to touch system again. Large hole left where condensate line exits drain pan. I installed my own insulation again to cover this hole sucking air in from garage. Place where indoor coil sits had holes to garage, again I installed foil tape to keep damp smells from being sucked into unit and house. Ground lug was not even installed to cabinet. Ground wire was placed through hole in metal case where lug should of been installed. Code violation thank you. Will get ground lug and install myself. Both my wife and me have sinus issues after unit installed. Something still not right in this higher SEER unit. I really wonder if this AC unit will perform and be reliable due to installation issues I do not even know about. Not a good feeling but perhaps they got the rest right.

3:30pm Wednesday I get a call that water is leaking from my AC unit into the unit downstairs, by 4:30 pm Direct Cooling gave me a quote, and told me a crew would be here at 8am (and they were) and by 12 noon the next day had an entirely new system installed and up and running!! Just like that.... new outdoor unit, new air handler, new thermostat.

The other company I called at 3:30 pm wanted $125 just to come out and look and because it was after 3pm on a weekday they were charging "Emergency service rates" just to come give me a quote???

Don't bother calling anybody else, Direct Cooling will take amazing care of you!!

Mr. Frank and his guys were beyond professional and came in and installed our new QUIET unit! Excellent service guys! Need more stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Repairmen arrived at scheduled time and quickly identified the AC problem and fixed. Then did a Maintanence check ensuring the system was running top notch before they left. Personable and very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Service price was very reasonable
