Amazing service! Scheduled an appointment for the same day, and they arrived quickly and resolved my furnace issue on the spot.

My furnace started blowing cold air the day an extreme weather warning was in effect, seriously. I called Tobin and they were able to come to my house within an hour of the intial phone contact! One of the owners came to my home...and assessed, explained thoroughly what the problems were and fixed my furnace fast and easily giving me peace of mind and a warm home again. All equipment in his vehicle. I highly recommend this company. He gave me information on how to inexpensively maintain my furnace as well as info on maintenance schedules taylored to my furnace. We were so happy we called Tobin. We had several quotes on a new two stage furnace and chose Tobin because their pricing was so much better then the other quotes we received. We were even happier after because of how clean and professional their tech's were. They had to retrofit the new furnace to our old ductwork. They came as a team and removed the old and installed the new furnace the same day. Our energy costs went down significantly. We had a 20 year old furnace that was not near as nice as the new high efficiency one they installed. We recommend Tobin highly!

Our Heater broke in the middle of a cold day in winter. As soon as I called Tobin, they had a repairman at my house within a half hour. Extremely kind people, great customer service, competitive price, and quick at their work. I highly recommend.

The third contractor was the charm. I had an AC that was blowing warm air and the first contractor estimated a complete replacement at a cost of $5,000. The second contractor showed up without a ladder and refused to look at the unit because it was a rooftop unit. Finally, Tobin H&C was scheduled and the techs troubleshot the unit and determined in 20 miniutes that the thermostat was faulty and saved me $4,750. I can't say enough about this company from the admin assistant to the techs...the customer servicer, professionalism, skills, and price was top notch. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

If you decide to use Tobin.... be very careful. I caught them price gouging me for a furnace repair. Long story short, they quoted me on replacing a furnace part for $1172. I went to another local vendor instead and the whole repair altogether (materials, diagnosis, and labor) cost $670. I also spoke to a couple of other local heating & air companies as well, their guestimates were somewhere between $400 to $700 in total cost. TOBIN WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU LET THEM! Ever since the original owner passed away years ago (God rest his soul.), the company has been starting to show levels of unprofessional behavior, from incompetent technicians, to unresponsive emails, and now to price gouging. My suggestion to everyone would be to do your homework first before you decide to move forward with Tobin. There are other companies out there that will get the same job done for a more 'reasonable' price.

I have called Tobin now on 3 occasions for various issues with our furnace and our water heater. Phil Grippi, a service manager and I believe one of the owners of Tobin, came out each time. He gave me solid advice and saved me thousands of dollars when another company, Applewood, suggested total replacement of my furnace and water heater. Not to mention, had those items actually needed total replacement, Tobin's estimates were half of what Applewood wanted to charge us. I would also add that the office staff at Tobin are responsive and courteous, and they will do their best to get someone to your house the same day. Phil Grippi is professional, trustworthy, and always provides a variety of options rather than insisting on the most expensive fix. If something is wrong with your heating, air conditioning, or water heater, call Tobin first!!

Phil showed up this morning to double check why my furnace (pump) was leaking. He figured it out quickly and made the repair! I will NEVER use another company again. Thanks Phil and Tobin!

Our furnace went out right before Christmas and Casey and the Tobin crew got us up and running and got a new furnace installed for us. The entire process could not have gone much smoother and we'll be using Tobin for our A/C unit replacement in the spring. We'll be using Tobin moving forward for all our heating and cooling needs!
