Comfort Pros

I had almost lost my faith in HVAC companies, after several of whom would show up at our house and without much evaluation, immediately advise that we need a new system, costing thousands and thousands of dollars. I'm happy to say Comfort Pros is not one of these companies, and would highly recommend them as an honest, professional company of high quality. Our representative, Cale, fixed the problem, explained the solution, and gave some great advice for system maintenance. We are very happy with the experience, and relieved to find an honest company.

Always nerve racking to drop five dollar figures on anything. My career involves interactions with various contractors, and you get to know right away who is in the business for the greater good. Comfort Pros is one of those businesses and they were the obvious choice for our project. The new HVAC system is AMAZING! The install crew (Ryan, Cale, and Jeff...on his birthday!!) were great and even had fun doing their work. Impressive company and crew!

We had Comfort Pros come out to install a steam humidifier. They were on time, professional, and got everything done in a timely manner. We would highly recommend them and will be using them for any other HVAC needs.

I would highly recommend Jeff and his team. They installed a new Trane A/C unit within a few hours and greatly increased the proficiency of our furnace while they were at it. Had a great experience with Comfort Pros, from the initial estimate to the install.

Estimate: Called to get an estimate to replace a 42 year old furnace and 25 year old water heater in the house we just bought. Jeff spent over 1.5 hours in our home, looking at the equipment and explaining options and recommendations. He never made us feel dumb, but took the time to answer our questions. He took a look at our AC as well and offered a deal on a slightly-used high-efficiency unit that would pair with the high-efficiency furnace we were interested in, all without any pressure. He gave us two sets of quotes (budget, good, better, best): one as originally requested and one with AC. He gave good explanations on the benefits of each level. We ended up getting the slightly used high-efficiency furnace/AC plus an upgrade to a tankless water heater at a great deal. As a side note: we got estimates from other companies and had the opposite experience that made Jeff's visit stand out even more.

Installation: Jeff's crew was fantastic. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. They took it in stride when I asked to watch most of the work since I always like to learn how systems work. They also interacted well with my younger kids who wanted to watch as well. The original estimate was for maybe a day and a half since they were replacing three low efficiency systems with with high-efficiency units, requiring extra piping work. Despite my hovering and my kids' questions, they were able to get it all done in the one day.

Wrap Up: After the install, Jeff gave a final tour of all of the work, explaining what they did, how to use each unit, and the required maintenance. He also walked us through the different aspects of the new thermostat. We also gave him the information to submit for rebates that. So far, the system is working great! We love the tankless water heater, and the HVAC is keeping us nice and comfortable at great efficiency.

Communication: Jeff runs a pretty small crew and does not have a dedicated assistant/receptionist. This did cause some bumps in communication, as he was often out on jobs and not always on top of responding to emails. However, he was always courteous and provided great information.

Jeff and Team did a great job when our furnace died after 23 years of useful life. Very informative about the options and prices. It took just under a day for our new furnace and a/c to be installed. Very impressed and would definitely recommend their company!
