Tipping Hat Plumbing, Heating & Electric

Michael Lia was fantastic. From the initial walk through he instilled confidence that he and his team at tipping hat would be able to change out my boiler system, home water filtration system and upgrade my very confusing set of valves and pipes leading to the base board heaters and radiant floor heating. I have nothing but good things to say about Michael and his team at Tipping hat! With something so important as heating a home in Colorado a saying comes to mind. “Cheap work ain’t good and good work ain’t cheap!” If you think their bid is expensive just imagine how expensive it would be to be to go with the other guys and then have to fix all the mistakes.

Now onto Floyd Sisneros. As with Michael I have nothing but great things to say about Floyd. Floyd really knew his stuff. My old system was one of a kind that was confusing and done all wrong. His professionalism, attention to detail, workmanship and knowledge are second to none! Floyd went above and beyond in all aspects of this job. I own a high voltage electrical construction company and if Floyd was a high voltage electrician my company would have made him an offer on the spot.

Both service pros Juan Garcia, Senad Sarajlija and Dan (don’t know last name) were excellent as well. They were professional and courteous the entire two days this project took.

We had a total installation of the following: Air Scrubber, HEPA Filter, AC, Furnace, Thermostats & Home Co2 Detectors etc. on Friday November 11, 2022. We had been working with Elizabeth on the administrative side of Tipping Hat for several weeks before finalizing our decision to make this large investment. She was the reason we ultimately decided to invest. She worked so hard to get us every rebate available to us as well as to ensure our ability to get the best in class pricing. We absolutely loved working with her and felt her sincerity and moreover her patience with us as we circled back with an infinite number of questions. Anyone else (myself included) would have given up on our making the purchase. Thank you Elizabeth, your skill set is a rarity in today's world and you are a true asset to the Tipping Hat organization.

The INSTALLATION CREW:

The leader of the crew was Landon. He's the consummate professional who led his outstanding crew to the excellence that we ultimately received. Jamie P., Remington B. Noe H., John S. and Joe E. arrived punctually, worked cohesively and behaved with class and the highest level of professionalism in our home. We were wowed at every turn. We had asked for a complete relocation of our present (24 year old) AC unit from one side of the house to another which was not an easy task. Actually it was an awful task and they did it beautifully. I have attached photos of our home's old furnace and AC unit along with the beautiful new products that Tipping Hat installed. The difference is day and night!
We had interviewed a couple of other companies for this large set of tasks / investment and we were not comfortable with any of the other companies/individuals. We made the decision to purchase the 10 year maintenance plan which equates to $500 annually as it's one of the most comprehensive plans we have seen on the market. It's worth the peace of mind knowing they have all our HVAC needs checked off with them. So very grateful to have had this experience.

Professionalism and experience at its best!

We had our old furnace and AC unit replaced, and John was one of our Service Pros. He put floor protectors down and wore shoe covers as well. He was careful when moving equipment and parts in and out to protect our home. He is friendly, polite and professional. John demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in his craft. He worked late to get our units installed and tested. Then took the time to ensure we understood and were comfortable with the system before he left.

We have found a great resource in Tipping Hat and can confidently recommend them!

We are very impressed with the professionalism of Tipping Hat. They are very knowledgeable of boiler systems and heard they are one of the best in the business. They are very responsive, timely, and professional. They explained everything and walked us through the install. They also offered interest-free financing which we took advantage of. From the initial visit and quotes/scheduling with Landon and Elizabeth to installation team (John, Manny, Kyle and Jesus) the team at Tipping Hat was friendly and responsive. Everyone that I came in contact with seemed to really enjoy what they do. I appreciate all the hard work on our furnace replacement. It was flawless. Will definitely be calling on Tipping Hat for our next project.

Amber K., Steven Chappy C., Joe E., John S., Kyle L. and Zach J. were great to work with. Education about their air condition products and installation process was excellent. They scheduled and completed the job quickly. I’d recommend giving them a look when considering bids for HVAC work.

I decided to call tipping hat because I received an advertisement in the mail from them. Called to schedule an appointment. "Unfortunately, we are all booked out for the season. We wouldn't be able to service your request."
I guess business for them is going extremely well and they don't need any new business. Definitely will find another place who needs customers. Why would they be sending advertisements if they're already booked up? If they're all booked up for the season, then why even bother asking me what the issue was with my air conditioner. I suspect that they only want jobs that are going to cost a lot of money and they don't bother with smaller jobs. When I said I wanted to schedule an appointment, why wouldn't they just tell me that they are filled up for the season versus asking me a bunch of questions about the kind of work I need done to my air conditioner.

Very knowledgeable technician! I had one job in mind and the tech walked me through multiple options that would have cost less but got the same job done and then let me decide which route I wanted to go. offered to follow up with some extra small services related to the job that I wasn't even thinking of and then walked me through how to do my own maintenance on the new installed parts.

Andrei was on time, professional, and knowledgeable about his work. I greatly appreciated his efficiency and the time he took to explain the workings of my new hot water heater. I will recommend your service to my friends and family.

We reached out to Tipping Hat as they are listed on Team Dave Logan’s site. Very polite, friendly person answered and helped schedule appointment. We sought a routine cleaning of an AC unit. The appointment was made quickly, easily and Mitchel nicely explained details. More issues were found as we have 18 year old AC and furnace. Michael spent time explaining rust in furnace and also critiqued another vendor’s hot water heater install. I appreciated the calls to update when tech was arriving! We’ll obtain a second opinion just to be sure before we consider replacing the furnace and AC.
