I recently called Gentec for a circuit breaker that kept tripping. The Gentec electrician was on-time for the appointment and called to let me know of his arrival time. When he arrived the electrician diagnosed the problem, resolved the issue and then explained to me what had occurred. I was satisfied with the results and plan to use them again if the need arises.

Al came out (on time). Replaced my light switch and was done in no time. It is hard to find good companies that return your phone call, do not mind doing the small jobs and is customer focused. I will be calling GENTEC back for future projects. Thanks again!!

When the power in our living room and – gasp – television went out a day before a scheduled event at our house, we freaked. Unable to enjoy our house without our living room lights and equipment (sad, I know), we had jerry-rigged a fix with extension cords, but we knew this was no way to live. So, we called Gentec Services.

Sean showed up a few minutes early for the delivery window (I was frantically vacuuming), which was very surprising. He was neat, polite, professional, and got right to work. I know my husband stayed close by, both to answer any questions and try to learn, but Sean didn’t seem to mind. He quickly went about diagnosing the problem. He ended up fixing not only the outage we had in the living room, but two dead outlets in the kitchen we had lived around for years.

You don’t know what joy is until you’ve turned on a garbage disposal that hasn’t worked for years without a few uncomfortable contortions and an extension cord to an outlet that did work.

Sean was amazing. Life after he left was immeasurably better. It was amazing. We were so sorry we hadn’t called sooner.

Back in 2015, I was hired Gentec to installed a level 2 EV charge station outside the garage, technician did a good job, But this company GENTEC Service didn't obtain permits from the county do my job. I was found out by a inspector came inspect my solar panels project. He was told me that " he can give me a fine up to $500 ". I do ask this company " do I need permits? But they said NO. advice everyone not to choices gentec services. As they did a bad job back in 2015, I had a issued to pass the solar panels inspection.

Relabeled fuse box so anyone can find bathroom gfi. Very competent, neat, and polite.

Ryan came to our home to trouble shoot electrical issues and give us ideas on revamping our outdoor accent lighting.
We were so pleased with all the corrections and repairs he made and are looking forward to him working on more projects for us
