This is the second time using Gentec. The first time was the replacement of all my smoke detectors, Gentec did an excellent job and the customer service was great! And the same holds true with this project overall and with the quoting, obtaining permits, procuring and installation of the Generac generator too. The crew (Jeff, Jordan and Eric) were on time, friendly, professional and did a stellar job working collaboratively together. I especially appreciate their attention to detail, dedication to quality, layout of work, answering any questions I may have had and at the end of the day the cleanliness… outstanding! You should be very proud of these guys and the customer support they provided.

I hired Gentec to install new outlets and switches for a bedroom. I could not be happier with my choice of companies. The tech was outstanding on time and went beyond my expectations. The price was within my budget and I will be using them again for future electrical needs.

Professional experience all the way around. Price was very good, estimates were accurate and person calculating and presenting them was very knowledgeable a gave me a feeling of comfort. Work days went very well, resources were on time, concerned about maintaining the condition of the home and completed the work as expected and ahead of schedule. Everyone I spoke with at Gentec was very nice and helpful and the technician they sent out did a great job. John read my inspector's report and helped me determine what I wanted to have done and prioritize the items. Professional, reliable service from the git-go. Joe, the owner, was frequently on site to monitor the work and discuss issues with the customer. He did a terrific job as acting primary contractor and handled all the sub-contracting work that was required (e.g., crane service to hoist the generator). Everything was done according to safety codes. Highly recommended.

I hired GENTEC Services to install some outdoor light fixtures. Chris did an outstanding job. He was punctual and efficient and finished the job faster than the estimated time. I will definitely hire GENTEC Services again for my electrical needs.

We were very pleased with the professional service from Gentec. When Al did the estimate, he gave us options, so the big job was affordable. Ryan assessed and then replaced our entire problematic low-voltage lighting system (a big job). Tarps were always used to protect our home and to catch dust in living areas; the end-products are all neatly done and work great. Gentec was creative about moving switches, when necessary, to avoid hitting pipes, cutting into cabinetry or making holes. The only hole he had to cut is concealed behind furniture, and they patched it so well that we aren't getting it textured. I valued Ryan''s advice and, especially, his stellar work ethic (They were ALWAYS on time). It's no fun crawling around in an attic that reached 100 degrees by noon in March. In spite of obstacles, he finished this multi-day job early.

Ryan was upbeat, considerate, and a respectful mentor to the two lucky apprentices who worked with him. The county inspector liked his work; I would absolutely recommend this company.

Diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to work us into the schedule for the next day. Air conditioner was up and running before the next heat wave.
Did have some issues with their call system but overall the transaction was great

Had a 240V put in the garage and two ceiling fans installed. The entire experience with GENTEC was great, from quote to installation. Everybody I dealt with was very friendly, responsive and professional. The installers worked very hard and did nice work. Seem like people you can really trust.
