I strongly advise you to be careful here and choose another place! I've been getting help with church air conditioning repairs and fixing the fridge or air conditioner in the restaurant for a long time! But it's no longer open because the boss is retiring! So I had to ask this place to repair the refrigerator! But he just injected Freon gas and charged me $950 for repairs! I was so surprised and bewildered but it was a busy Friday and I was paid for a year of free warranty repairs! 3 months later I got it repaired again for the same Freon gas problem, but I asked him to finish it because I was going to give $120 for the repair! But he said if you don't give him the $460 he wants, he'll hand it over to the collection and it's going on! This place is really operating with the intention of trading customers only once!

NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS! They don't even ask you how much they will charge you which is very unprofessional and do whatever poor work on your refrigerator and charge you with a overly expensive price. We told them we weren't going to pay the price after charging us a very expensive price without even telling us and doing a very poor job WHICH DIDNT EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM They literally looked at our face and laughed and said they will send us to collections and take our fridge if we didn't pay for the service they did on us without even letting us know what they were doing. So unprofessional. Please don't ever do business with these thieves again!

Also how do you threaten your customers that you will not allow any other refrigeration companies do work for you? How is that allowed. It is literally crazy to think of. This company of JC Rego think that they are the boss of all refrigeration companies which is ridiculous, while they are out here with more 1 star ratings than anything. This says alot about this company that they care about the money only and nothing about customer service. They show the highest class of unprofessionalism and disrespect in terms of service. I dont even know what measures or standards they use to even come up with their prices, but just charge on their own on what they think is right. Literally horrible people and company, and John needs to do a better job in just being a better owner and having better service.

i have been a client of JC Rego for many years and after the service today i will no longer use or recommend their services i don't know what the communication error was dealing with john this service but i felt like he ripped me off .. period he never gave an estimate and when i pretty much demanded it he give me a quote then after finishing the job he hands me a bills and say this is the best i can do i gave a 100 discount but here is the bill, he hands me a much higher bill then the estimate he quoted me this morning there was zero communication during the job to express there were more difficulties or the job changed so i was unaware until after the job was done there was changes to the estimate and when i became upset he says you don't understand the work ... i understand a quote and how that works if there are changed you let the client know immediately so they are aware. i was left with no choice but to pay it because the service was done ... very unprofessional never using Rego again

I called him for doing a service for our Subway freezer. First of all he was overcharging for the equipment pieces that were needed and second he was saying I don’t know how long it will take for them to come in. So I decided to find a website and order myself. The things I ordered were less than half of the price that he mentioned and also I did express shipping and they came in next day. He visited our store again and was extremely annoyed by the fact that we ordered them ourselves then he mentioned of ordering one more thing and we had to order it again with additional express shipping price. We tried to be nice to him throughout but he seemed so upset by the fact that we tried to save money on things that he was overcharging for. Then on third day he just handed over the bill of $1100 and when I asked for bill details he completely denied to give. He didn’t mention his commute miles or hours nothing. There was no detailed bill giving explaining why the price was so high and he threatened to sue me for asking him for the bill details. So his company is completely unprofessional and Rip off is what he and his company does. We don’t earn money from trees and here we are working hard to make money. On the other side people like him are just overcharging for just labor which was not even more than 3 hours and the commute if I consider it to be was not more than 2 hours considering he came three times to my store which was completely unnecessary. And that’s what he charged us $1100!!!! Are you freaking serious !!! I have asked other people to help us before it’s just this time I had no option and called him. I would not recommend his service to anyone. His service was a complete form of rip off and customer service sucked.

Now, after we have posted the review about his unpleasant service. He has been trying to threaten us that he won't let any other Refrigetion company come and work at our store. I mean I don't get the audacity of this man named John. This is what professionalism is ??? This man thinks he runs California and can do anything. Even if I have put forward the truth of his service. It's 35 minutes drive from his company to our store. He purposely came to the store three times when he could just fix things in two days as he saw what was wrong then. According to his bill he worked for 11 hours considering if we paid him $100 per hour. Which doesn't make sense at all coz drive including for three days couldn't be more than 2 hours and work he did was only 4 hours. So actually for working 6 hours he charged us $1100 for his labor !!! And he has the audacity to still call and threaten. If you do wrong start owning it. No one was keeping him from getting money that he worked for but asking for unreasonable price is the matter here. Also not to forget when asked for detailed bill he threatened to sue us. I just want everyone to know because they are overcharging and being disrespectful through the roof!!

Our heater kept turning off at night. Our landlord called JC Rego and John came to our house. He is so nice, knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to listen to us and was very thorough as he looked for the problem. He returned a couple of days later with a new motor and explained to me what he was going to do. In about 20 minutes, our home was nice and toasty and John gave us directions on how to keep it that way. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. I highly recommend this company!
