John Owens Services was very prompt and courteous in repairing our leak. They replied quickly and were able to fix the leak within 2 business days. I would have given them 5 stars but one of our flagstone tiles was slightly damaged during the repair.

I’ve had John Owens Services install HVAC equipment in two houses. Every time they were fast, on time, clean, and ultimately did a fantastic job. They were exceptionally careful during the pandemic. Highly recommended.

John Owens Services installed a new Central Air Conditioner in our condo. Ivan did an excellent job, worked hard, completed a nice clean system install. Pricing was very competitive, schedule date was set and met. Very positive experience.

As a single mom and a homeowner, I trust John Owens and his team to be timely, efficient, and above all, honest in their dealings. They have done all sorts of work for me, from upgrading the electrical panel, to putting in a new hot water heater, to trouble-shooting and fixing all sorts of things after an oddball power surge (from a downed tree into a power line) fried nearly every appliance in my home. They came highly recommended to me by a contractor friend when I first purchased my house in 2015, and I wouldn’t call anyone else.

John Owens Services has been excellent and most reliable in upgrading our 1970's house, transforming it into a modern high tech and efficiently functioning home. John shows up personally to advice and design and give accurate estimates that are executed exactly as he says by a professional and efficient crew. Perhaps less expensive workers can be found, but not once did I feel that John's pricing was above the high quality work performed. Quality counts.

Our old furnace in West Marin gave out a couple weeks ago, leaving us waking to very chilly mornings and spending evenings in down jackets. A contractor friend recommended John Owens Services, who sent a technician out the next day. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem (severe corrosion) and walked us through repair vs replace scenarios. We decided to replace, and a second tech came the next day to discuss replacement options and take measurements. We did some research and selected a model, which JOS ordered that day and scheduled installation for two business days later. Two installers arrived when promised, finished removal and new installation in about 5 hours, cleaned up and were gone. I liked that every visit was preceded by a text estimating arrival time. All JOS personnel (including the folks in the office) were polite, knowledgeable, and on time. I was impressed and pleased and highly recommend JOS.

John Owens' technician Brad came out to inspect my older gas furnace and provide feedback on its condition. Brad was professional, very helpful and patient in explaining the way the furnace operated and what to expect from it in the future. I would call on them again when I need additional service.

They were prompt, polite and did a good job.But In explaining my situation
to the gentleman on the phone (replace
a couple fittings under the sink and install a new faucet) he had no clue to
give a rough estimate which I wanted.
When the tech showed up he said it would take about 1 1/2 hrs, it took 2
and no problem. But when I got the bill
for $500.00 I was shocked. Will not
recommend.... got ripped off !!!!
