Peter responded the same day. Appt was for between 4-6. He arrived exactly at 4pm. He diagnosed the problem of water leaking on the floor from my Sub Zero and identified it as a clogged drain hose. It took him on 20 minutes for the repair. He was fast, efficient, neat and cordial

Very quick response and repair! What a relief, highly recommend! Our 6 year old stackable Samsung dryer was pretty loud on and off the past year. The company sent out by our warranty/insurance refused to try to fix it, said it wasn't broken enough. They literally did nothing except charge me $85 bucks twice, forgot to tell my warranty company I had paid, so I got multiple charge...big waste my time. I did not renew our appliance warranty, submitting to a noisy dryer until it become a non-functioning dryer. Well, yesterday, my husband started the dryer and bang/pop, it was not working. Tried to get a service request started through Samsung, but they were a real hassle to deal with--very time consuming ticket submission process, and didn't even hear back from them about setting up an appointment until Friday afternoon. I contacted this company through yelp and got a reply very quickly, as well as scheduling an evaluation and repair same day!! They guy came and explained things well, showed me the part that was broken, someone came with the replacement part, and he gave me a round down of how long he expected the new part to last (several years) It's Friday 6pm, and as far as I can tell, the dryer is fixed. I don't expect anything to go wrong, but the service person explained that there is a 1 year warranty on parts and labor (or maybe 6 months, i forget which). I was definitely anxious when our dryer broke last night--how soon could we get someone to come out, would we need a new dryer, yadda yadda. Within 24 hours, problem solved. I can relax and enjoy the weekend

Prompt and courteous service on our older Whirlpool dryer that wasn't heating up by Paul. Ultimately it was a fuse replacement but we needed to get rid of the dust bunnies and he also tested the electrical to make sure. Also looked at our older gas stove and the ignition there which was great. Would use them again

We called GenHome when our furnace broke, just in time for the cold weather. They were very responsive and Petru was at our home the next day to check it out. He correctly identified the problem and fixed it within a business day. Since then, Petru came by 3 more times to help inspect an issue which ended up being unrelated to the original problem. Overall, we are very happy with GenHome and their responsiveness. I would definitely recommend for your repair needs!

My washer and dryer combo machine was not working. I communicated with Pavel via Yelp. And I talked with him. I felt he knew his stuff. You can feel a person over the phone. He came out and found the rot cause of the problem. A sock stuck in the drain line. No parts needed to fix which is great. But this issue can get misdiagnosed by less skilled technicians. Technicians usually look to replace a part. I feel Pavel is honest and sharp! I highly recommend him. I will use him again in future
