Paul (contact person) was professional, efficient and straightforward. Dispatched Alex (technician) who diagnosed and resolved a strange refrigerator issue (defrost control) within a reasonable amount of time and before things got any worse (refrigerator/freezer contents gone completely melted). Good/dependable operation and service. Not cheap but worth it for peace of mind.

I called General Appliance Repair in the morning and they had someone to my house just a couple of hours later. He was friendly, professional, and helped us diagnose the issue with our dryer in under half an hour. He then offered to assist us with the repair or talk us through how to do it ourselves. Great service!

Called them up base upon their reviews but the man on the other end of the phone sounded half asleep and connection was in/out - He said to me the service call is $90 and when I ask him is that the price - I could barely hear him and ask him to clarify then he hung up on me - At first I thought we lost connection so I called back and no answer. Very rude service experience.

They were so responsive, quick, and thorough! Very transparent with pricing as well, I'd recommend them 100%. So glad my dishwasher is working again :)

The fastest repair I have ever had. It took the repairman 5 minutes to figure out the problem. He had the parts with him and another 10 minutes he was done and my dishwasher works great. Communication was awesome. I submitted my request online and the response was next business day. An appointment was set and I was notified when to expect him as he was in route. I felt safe and he was respectful. This company checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

General Appliance Repairs did an awesome job with an urgent dryer repair. They were super responsive, came early (a few minutes in advance of their delivery window!) and quickly fixed my issue. I am so grateful! Will definitely use them again if any urgent issues arise.

I contacted this technician based on the reviews here. He was responsive. The service is good and he provided helpful advice. On the day of the appointment, he was slightly delayed- I appreciated that he made the effort to inform me ahead of time. Highly recommended to General appliance Repair!!

Pavel came to diagnose my Maytag washing machine that was fried when PG&E turned off the power to our block. Within that appointment he determined that the control board was fried and told me the cost to replace it--$280 for the board, $300 for labor (because he needed an extra hand to unstack the dryer on top of it). Within a day of the part arriving he had my washer up and running again.

In conclusion he quickly diagnosed the issue, quoted the repair and had it fixed within a week. Yeah we had to wash our laundry somewhere else but it was cheaper and about as fast as replacing the machine. Thanks Pavel (and no thanks PG&E).
