REO Mechanical

This company was sent to my house by the home warranty people to fix my heater. They did a shoddy inspection of my heater and gave me a blank bid. Then they called back and said it would be $1900 to CLEAN my HVAC unit and the home warranty would pay $347 to replace the control panel. From my research this is a common practice where the homeowner gets way over charged while the home warranty company pays a pittance. I tried to look them up on the State of California contractors license website but there was no business named REO Mechanical listed.

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with. Being a Property Management Company, who contracts with American Home Shield, this would be the LAST company I would ever deal with. Maria was foul mouthed and vulgar, very unprofessional, she is supposedly the Owner of this company. They were contracted to do a job and they have yet to finish it. Scheduled with them to stop by the office and pick up the key to a vacant unit, to finish their job, was told it would cost me an additional $100 for them to pick up the key to finish their job. They literally have to drive by the office to get to the job. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

This is the first time I have work with REO and I have to say, the entire experience was great. The service was perfect, thank you Preston and the office girls, Ashley and Jen were so helpful. Thank you so much for making things quick and easy!

There were great. They were on time did a fast job Maintenance in my HVAC with the help of Ashley Mingo dispatching in the service tech Ben García it was a great experience and in the future if I need any repair I will go straight to REO mechanical and I will be recommending this company to everyone

Good luck getting your AC fixed. Our AC has been broken for over 3 weeks and the representatives keep beating around the bush as to why the technician couldn't make it. One week the technicians took a vacation, the next week they took a sick leave. The next week they couldn't make it because they were busy. They even go to great lengths to lie and cover up the lies, such as the technician came but nobody was home, when we sat there waiting for him to arrive. Stay away from this company and find another, you'll be grateful you did! Oh, and our AC still isn't fixed. Don't waste your time with these people.

REO was the right choice for me! Ashley was very helpful in scheduling my service right away! Thanks to Ben and Preston for prompt and quality install.

I can't explain how bad this company is to work with. They constantly don't know who you are when you call. They missed multiple appointments. Asked for extra money to actually show up. We were lectured by them multiple times. We had an appointment for 12-6, call at 8:00 am telling us they are their way. We explained we can't be home for 10 minutes they said to call the office and reschedule. Seriously, this place is deplorable.

Incredible service!!! I live in Lincoln and he was here 15 minutes after I called. He walked up to the ac unit like he already knew was was wrong with it and had it diagnosed and running in literally 5 minutes after he got here. Absolute professional and affordable service. CALL THESE GUYS FIRST!!!!!

Do not call!! The worst services I have ever had, two months and still no AC, I even have a home warranty and they still can not get the Air, even installed a new AC unit after they left the unit went out again, they make appoinmentsts never show or call then when you call they cant come for another week, Please I warn you do not call these deceitful, incompetent people.

Adam came out and did a very efficient job in evaluating what was up with my vintage AC unit, and we developed a treatment plan. He was very punctual, sussinct & efficient.
