I was assigned Comfort Pro Heating and Cooling for a covered service call by American Home Shield. Comfort Pro responded well within the promised time frame and solved the problem properly and very professionally. The tech who was dispatched arrived on time and was courteous. Comfort Pro's service manager, Johnny, followed up the next day to see if all was handled as we expected. All in all, we were very satisfied with the service, and will contact Comfort Pro if needed again. We would happily refer friends and neighbors to them.
This company was referred by American Home Shield due to my a/c going out in triple digit heat and after 48 hours had passed that I was told someone from this company would call and no one never did. So I called them and was told the lady in the front office that handles these calls left on a emergency and for me to call back Monday. So I called American Home Shield back and told them what happened and they were surprised that no one had contacted us, I had to call them. So they searched and got me another a/c company to come out but I guess due to back ups, staff shortages whatever the reason they did not hear my desperate plea for help as my mom is 90 and she can’t sit in this heat, all I got from this company was they were sorry. I’m sure they do good work, just never got the chance to find out.
Replaced my outside AC unit in 2019. Apparently, the job requires a city permit to swap the unit, so they handled the paperwork, which, they assured me, is part of their process. They charged me $400 for the permit (it turns out the permit was only $86). I found out in July 2021 — TWO YEARS LATER —, when the city contacted me to let me know the permit was never paid and my installation was illegal!!! I contacted the company, they apologized (BTW, still no refund for the egregious $314 overcharge for the permit they had not paid), and told me they would pay the permit fee promptly. A month later, I got a note from the POLICE to pay the fee immediately!!! I called comfort pro to confirm they had paid the permit. They ended up paying the city permit, but I have not been reimbursed for their ruthless permit fee overcharge.
So far not a great experience. It has been a month and still no resolution. Techs came out last week and although they had the part needed they claimed it was damaged and needed to order a new one. It was about 10 days for the first part, I'm anticipating the same for the replacement. I was told 2 years ago this very part no longer functioned by a different HVAC company, they were wrong. I hope comfort pro is correct and I have not been waiting in a super hot house pointlessly but we shall see. If this gets resolved within the next week and without issue I will without a doubt update my rating.
Blower motor went out on my HVAC. Home warranty sent our Comfort Pro. I was very please with their response time and how proficient and efficient they were. This was a one-and-done service call because the tech had a blower motor in his truck. He was prepared! This is a breath of fresh air as you don't always get this with home warranty contractors. I'm especially grateful because it's 111 outside today!
They service requests was put in on June 21st and they are just helping me July 5th after having record heat reaching 110 degrees outside.. i had put in several calls for this company to help me and they never called back. And to say it was a little low on freon. And need a new filter.. socks sucks..
The fellows that replaced our unit were efficient, worked quickly, very considerate of our property, cleaned up after themselves. Our unit was checked to make sure it was running properly before they left. I'd recommend this company for any heating and air conditioning issues.
My home warranty company contacted comfort pro to repair air conditioner. They came out and replaced a part. The first time my tenant goes to use AC it doesn't work. I called comfort pro and left 2 voicemails the same day of the service to let them know it was not working, they didn't call me back. I called 2 days later and they claim answering machine was broken. By then it was too late, they already closed the case and I had to call warranty company again and pay another service fee for an issue that wasn't resolved in the first place.
Comfort Pro completed some repairs on our AC units last year and did a great job so we called them back to do the semi-annual maintenance on our AC units before the hot weather hits. Jim Carrera was our tech today and did a great job getting the units cleaned up and ready to go. He gave us a verbal report when he was finished and also emailed us a detailed report of what was done on each AC unit. He was friendly, professional and completed the job in a timely manner. We'll definitely keep using Comfort Pro for all of our HVAC needs.
I had an appointment window of 8-12 .The time came and went without a call. I received a text @ 1356 saying that a technician was on route two hours after the window. I texted back with no response. They got to my house said they fixed the problem, I ask if they wanted me to turn the unit on, they said no they checked the unit from the top and it works fine. Well...I turned the unit on and it was doing the same thing. Had to call them back just so unprofessional from top to bottom highly recommend going elsewhere.
