DeRon was very caring and professional in trouble shooting my HVAC and he found the problem right away and explained to me in details. I like his work and AIS overall.

This is a great outfit. The technicians are knowledgeable and able to explain things clearly, and very professional. Everything was installed well. Pricing is fair. Communication via text for scheduling, arrival, etc. made coordination easy.

When we had some proverbial “crossed wires” on one aspect of a project, Daniel the owner came out to investigate the issue himself, and resolved it completely to my satisfaction.

Glad to have found these guys and will be a repeat customer.

AIS has been so great responding to my questions and concerns. They worked around availability and solar install adapting to our needs without complaint.

Very knowledgeable technician. Another company told me I needed to spend $692 to fix a problem with my heater. This technician did the repair for $100! They seem to be extremely honest and their employees speak so highly of the owner. I think that's always a really good sign! Highly recommend!

We replaced the heater and HVAC. They told us the process takes 1 day and we paid ~19k. It took 4 days instead (understandable because of the amount of the work). After so many follow up and rescheduling on their side to get the piece of equipment (which was impacted by supply chain during pandemic), they eventually finish the work and promised us the permit as we had paid for it.

The fist PG&E inspection (for efficient heater) failed and we had to follow up with AIS again so they can come back to fix it. Then, the city inspector comes (AIS told us to contact them and schedule the appointment).
When the inspector comes, he told us that AIS is not here and the paperwork are filed wrongly so all started again.
AIS scheduled the permit with the city for next day (last day before our moving) and we got the permit.
It worked out at the end but I believe it could have been smoother for first time home owner if they had dedicated more time initially for the permit and educate us upfront about detailed steps so it does not come as a surprise.

Candus arrived as planned to evaluate my options for replacing a furnace with a heat pump. She checked the situation carefully, discussed options and other work that might be wise. Upon leaving she promised to send me a quote by the end of the day. Consistent with that, I received the quote at 5:15pm. I don't know yet whether I will use AIS for this project, but Candus was certainly effective in her role.

When our five-year old air conditioner recently failed, we first asked the the company that installed it to service it. Unfortunately, the technician who evaluated it explained the cause and suggested a course of "non-action". He did so as he consulted his employer, so I don't fault him. But his rationale didn't make sense to us.

A friend referred us to AIS and the owner, Daniel. We wanted help ASAP and Daniel wasn't available. Luis came instead. He evaluated our unit thoroughly, and found this issue. His detailed assessment explained the malfunction and his solution was not costly. Barely anything. We were very impressed and would have tried whatever he suggested. So, kudos to Luis and this company! Service providers of all types can take advantage of customers' technical ignorance, so we appreciated him all the more.

Finally, our yard has tons of dirt to track in and he was careful coming in and out. Thanks

Toby came over to our house to give a quote for a mini split AC unit and we were totally impressed with his patience to explain everything and the level of detail and care he took to figure out the best options available for our specific needs. He went above and beyond when he offered to fix a broken entry door (to the crawl space). It’s hard to find a person like him in this competitive business minded world. We are yet to get the actual quote but wanted to post this review for the attitude Toby demonstrated during the visit today. Thank you and keep it up!
