I purchased my AC and heat unit from command, works well for 8 years and recently put my self on the maintenance program after a few minor repairs. The service person made some suggestions about new registers and that has helped my place stay even cooler with less $, the service person came today to do maintenance and was very thorough, professional and explained everything well. Command Comfort is a great company. The ease of making an appointment online worked great and the response was unbelievable. Of course, my air conditioner quit during a heatwave. The technician, Jack Mayakawa was very polite over the phone. He was running early and asked if he can stop by early. That blows my mind. He was honest, clean and very professional in diagnostic the problem. He was able explain the problem to me in layman terms. Fantastic customer service. If you're looking for an honest technician, Jack is your guy. I would not hesitate to use Command Comfort in the future and will request Jack. Command Comfort is number one in providing customer service.
John Hanna, from Custom Comfort, came out today to inspect and/or repair our air-conditioning unit. He was simply amazing - he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.
I would definitely use both John and Custom Comfort for my air-conditioning needs. If more technicians were like John, I'd be delighted because so many of them are not. He was honest and very analytical in solving my problem - I'm definitely impressed.

Nicole was great - she scheduled us very quickly, and followed up both the day before and the day of to confirm our appointment! Nicole was also very helpful answering all my follow-up questions about permitting and inspection.
Jamie came out and did a thorough walkthrough of our house, poking around in the limited overhead space and taking pictures through several holes I had cut in the walls/ceilings. Afterwards, he invited us to the showroom to view some of the potential options for wall units - everyone in the office was friendly and professional.
Jack, Paul, and Rick came out and performed the installation - all three were super professional and proficient at their jobs. They took the time to explain everything to us and also answered all of my (frequently interrupting) questions. When faced with the challenge of our limited overhead space for ducting, the team told me that they love a challenge and got right to it, crawling around in there and coordinating with each other in multiple rooms and the garage to figure out the best way to get everything to fit.
When the inspector came out, everything passed with flying colors - he actually took several pictures and said "they did a really great job, we like to have pictures on file of excellent work so that we can show to other contractors who may not quite do as good a job", which I thought was incredibly high praise.
The team has followed up several times over the last two months to make sure the system is still working and we are enjoying it, as well as answering all of my questions about how to use the WiFi controllers, programming, etc.
Really a fantastic experience with Command Comfort, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I love the outstanding customer service you receive when hiring Command Comfort. I always go to yelp for hiring people, and I look for business that are smaller, licensed, and care about the reviews on services like yelp, google, etc, because it shows that they do care about their customers. I always get three quotes, but this time i stopped at two after talking with Jaime from Command Comfort.
The whole process was very easy, even in light of this whole COVID-19 pandemic. I messaged them on Yelp, and within minutes i had an answer and was able to set up a virtual consultation with them within the next day or so. When i FaceTimed with Jaime, he had already looked up the satellite image of my house, and was able to walk him through the layout of my house to give him a better idea of what he was dealing with. Then that same session he was able to give me the exact pricing. He was not pushy at all and very easy to talk to. He answered every ridiculous question i had with a smile. I ended up going with an outdoor unit that went up to 5 zones, even though i just wanted two indoor units at the time for my estimate, but they help you with the rebates from Edison that end up like instant rebates, to where the price between the 2 zone and 5 zone unit was negligible and left it open for me to add more indoor units as i saw fit. After the consultation, Jaime himself came by just to confirm my Electric panel was ok, and to confirm where everything was going to be placed inside and outside.
I hired them and schedule the install day. On installation day the workers were all on time, they wore masks and booties, and finished up in one day. They cleaned everything up, and then went over all my paperwork and warranties ( because they are a Mitsubishi mini-split certified installer you get the longer Mitsubishi warranty as well). Well i loved the two units, they worked flawlessly and passed the HERS testing easily (needed for permits per CA), and they are handling my permits for me — i think its just taking a little bit because of this COVID closures. So since the new units were working great, I actually went ahead and got a quote for another two indoor units so that i really wouldn’t have to use my central AC much at all as they are so energy efficient. I was able to just text Jaime he was able to give me a quote and came by to confirm where i wanted the units and if it would work. We scheduled, and again had them installed without issue. There’s no doubt in my mind, if i ever had any problems with them that they would be easy to get a hold of, and they would be out to diagnose of fix it as quickly as possible. They also offer maintenance plans and they’re not pushy to pick the most expensive one at all.
I’ve already recommended them to the rest of my family, and even some neighbors. I really value customer service, and being able to develop such a great relationship and experience with a company you’re hiring and spending your hard earned money to. The folks at Command Comfort are nothing but fantastic. I bought 3 units about 1.5 years ago. Love them! The "brain" sits outside my bedroom window and very quiet. Almost forget its there. Nothing like my neighbor's central air unit. I hear their's. Managing cooling and heating room by room is also great, allowing to cool/heat only what i need and when i need it. Very quickly too. I recently did a home remodel that required the removal of the units. Jack, Jaime, and Ryan took care of us and the units. Once done, they came back reinstalled my original units and then installed a new additional unit. They had to make multiple visits due to the construction, but they worked with us to get the job done right. Even when one of the original units had a minor problem, they came out and fixed. Mainly a line issue and was easliy corrected. Brittany in the office is also great handling questions and scheduling on the phone. Truly appreciate the patience with our situation as well as the great work and support. When people ask me about the units, i go on and on about the units but also the folks at command comfort.
