My 15 year old central HVAC was freezing up. I cleaned the evaporator and that didn't fix it so I called OMA. Tech not only troubleshot and fixed the system at a very reasonable price, he gave me information on how to make the most informed choices. I'll be buying a complete HVAC system them from them soon!
So kind, friendly and thorough. Didn’t feel like they were trying to sell us a new unit but instead tell us all our financial options to fix our AC unit. Highly recommend.
During our first real cold spell in NW Arkansas about one week ago in October, we experienced the FIRST ever trouble with our 12-year old 4-ton TRANE heating and A/C packaged unit (2006) in that the heating portion would come on with our older thermostat, but the system would soon cycle off with no heating produced. We called Mountain Air whose rep, Carl, scheduled a $65 service call for the next day during a probably busy season! Two very business-like but cordial service personnel (just like we like) appeared the next morning a little after 8:30 and proceeded to diagnose a corroded flame propagation safety cutoff probe which was corrected within just a few minutes by restoring the probe's sensitivity with something like the same "brushing" action one might give periodically to an auto battery post to increase good electrical cable contact conduction. The total service time was less than 30 minutes and the total cost was a little over the initial $65. Both servicemen explained what the problem was, the fix, AND then provided patient answers to a few questions which led to sharing/explaining some key features and limitations about our system to consider for possible future fail-point system elements over time. Several advantages, for example, were stainless steel burners and variable stage heating design, plus a 14 SEER air-conditioning subsystem with aluminum versus copper heat exchanger coils that became too thin by manufacturers' choice several years ago during higher priced copper times. Our A/C subsystem does not have the variable stage speeds like the heating subsystem does, but current new systems CAN have that feature (if chosen when installing a new system) as well as higher SEER levels up to 20 now possible, but, of course, for much more money. In short, we were very satisfied to have our sound, but somewhat aging, system assessed, repaired, and working normally again since the repair date and without exorbitant parts and labor repair costs OR a "sales scam". We really appreciated the entire abbreviated experience, expect Mountain Air would tell us accurately when we REALLY DID have component failures, will use them again now after parting ways many years ago for increasing annual service plans, and now recommend potential customers seriously consider Mountain Air for HVAC needs. I've been using them for a couple years to keep an old furnace alive and was finally able to purchase a new unit this month through them. Their prices beat out all the other bids I received, and every employee I've interacted with was kind and respectful.
We had Mike out from Ozark Mountain Air, he was super great and was very knowledgeable. Didn't mind answering any questions we had. We really enjoyed his service. Will use them again. Thank you!
Ozark Mountain Air has a lot of integrity. Paschal perhaps misdiagnosed the problem and told me I needed a $6,000 new air conditioning system. Ozark Mountain Air fixed the problem for $109.09....less than it cost me for Paschal to misdiagnose the problem. I highly recommend Ozark Mountain Air.
Jason had 10 calls on a Saturday, but still made time for our family HVAC interruption. He took the time to test all the possible issues and discovered a faulty capacitor. We were relieved to have good news, no up-sell and a cooler evening. We're new OMA customers, but I'll be calling them first from now on. Thanks Jason!
My 80 year old Mother's AC went out in this very hot, humid weather. Justin came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. Her unit is 20 years old and he had it up and running in no time, without costing a fortune. We will use them in the future and would definitely recommend them for your repair needs.
Had new upgraded HVAC system installed. Everything went smoothly and the system is so much quieter and more efficient. And, it is connected to my iphone! I have been using this company for many years for seasonal checks as well. Highly recommend
