on june 30 a service man came because my mom thought she heard a clanking noise. The service tech went through the machine thoroughly and said it looked good. It was OK. Everything’s fine that he will definitely talk to others to find out what it could be my moms 87 years old and it’s imperative that we deal with people who have integrity and compassion, this customer service person did and so did the first one that came on the 29th. to replace a bad motor Thank you for your time and continued support. Update: Perry Heating and Cooling has reached out to me regarding this situation. The manager seems very sincere and concerned. He has assured me that the technician is being retrained in diagnosing issues with heat pumps. They will keep me updated on their progress. They also extended us a future credit to earn their business back.

The company was called to diagnose a heat pump malfunction. We were told that the repair would be $7500 or a new system would be $13000+. We called another company and within 30 minutes they identified an unattached wire and a blown fuse. Our cost was $85. Our system is working great!
My concern is not the $89.99 service charge. My real issue is that I live in a 55+ community and many of our friends an neighbors are much older and might have not done the same research that we did. I would not want them to be taken advantage of in any situation. Many are on limited incomes.
Additionally, I called them to discuss what happened and I was told someone would call me back. That was 6 days ago. I urge anyone whose chooses to take a chance with this company to please get another opinion before you give them thousands of dollars for a $100 fix.

Todd was on time - actually a bit early - for scheduled appt and provided a quick assessment and repair while explaining why each step was needed. Pricing was transparent and on-site preventing misunderstanding. Pricing was fair, especially compared to other companies.
