Owner and tech could not properly diagnose problem so they made one up and attempted to up-sell me on a new unit. This company is one of the reasons that Home Warranty companies get such a bad reputation.

Jose did a great job, just like the last time. I reviewed the test results, which were good, and he briefed me on all the details. He even fixed a little issue that was a few minutes of work for an expert that would have taken me hours. I'm very pleased with Sun Tech.

Worst A/C company I have ever come in contact with. Unfortunately my home warranty “assigned” me to them. First problem- they never called me after being told they would call to set up the appointment. After getting a tech to the house, he wandered inside acting as if he didn’t know what to do. Then he went outside to look at the unit. He took a bunch of parts out and said he didn’t have the part, they would be in contact. This was on a Tuesday. By Thursday, the office called and said they had the part and he would come out to install the following day. He showed up on Friday saying “ I don’t have the part to fix it.” He went to the outside unit, and left without saying anything. I tracked him down on his cell phone. I asked “where are you.” He replied, “ driving around Phoenix looking for your part.” I couldn't believe I had been told they had the part and were coming to install it. (This is PHOENIX in the SUMMER)
I told him to not come back. I called another repair company. They were sympathetic, got a technician out the next day, and fixed the A/C.
My home warranty company One Guard would only reimburse me at what this loser company said would cost to fix it. They were wrong. Once the new motor was installed, the unit was running to many amps and had to be fixed, therefore costing more. One guard would not reimburse me.

My heat was not working; we had a problem with our thermostat. The Sun Tech representative check everything and all we needed was to reinstall the thermostats onto our app (as they are app driven). He we efficient and didn't charge us for anything unnecessary.

This was the company assigned to me by my home warranty company. Beginning in June my air conditioner stopped blowing cold. A tech would come out and fix the issue (blown fuse, exploded coil, leak). This happened every couple of weeks until one Monday in July when the tech came again and said the unit was no longer repairable and would need to be replaced. In order to get the unit replaced my home warranty company needed the tech's paperwork from this call. By Thursday of that week he had still not submitted it. I had to repeatedly make calls in order to get that paperwork submitted meanwhile I have no air conditioning in 115 degree Phoenix weather. After TWO WEEKS of no air conditioning I finally had an appointment to have the new unit installed. I was told my appointment would be on a Saturday anywhere between 8-12. This was confirmed by both email and text. By 12 on Saturday no one had shown up so I called the company and was then told that actually my appointment was scheduled for anywhere between 12-4. No one had called me to tell me the appointment time had changed so I spent an entire morning waiting for them. Once they actually arrived the installation went fairly quickly and so far the new unit is blowing cold. I have not been satisfied with the communication from this company. I have had to call them every step of the way in order to prompt this installation along. No one contacts me even when something with my appointment changes, but they have no problem contacting me multiple times once a payment is due. Would not choose to use this service again.

Jason and his guys are awesome!!! They are very reasonably priced and super knowledgeable. It is refreshing to speak to a mechanic in any field who is not getting a commission on upsales. They just do what is needed. I have referred them to about 30 of my clients and friends and they all loved him.

My A/C broke mid summer in 2020. These guys were here the next morning super helpful and considerate. I have a puppy and children so it wasn’t a hassle free situation. Took him less than an hour and very affordable. 10/10 would recommend.

I had several other companies, and technicians, out to my home to diagnose a short in the wiring between my thermostat, and my unit. After several mis-diagnosis, and many expensive parts that were fried, Sun Tech AC sent Manny out to figure it out.
He was quick, very professional, and nice!

The guys who came to repair our a/c unit were on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. When they realized the fuses were bad, one of them went out of his way to get the fuses and come back to replace them and get our unit up and running. After more than a week without air in the front of our house, we were delighted to have a repairman go out of his way to get our unit going. I really appreciate this company.
