SunTech is a first class business that went above and beyond to get my AC fixed and assessed when it broke in the middle of the summer. They presented me with multiple options for a new AC and explained each one thoroughly so that I could make the right decision. It only took 3 days from my old AC being down to getting a new one installed. All the technicians that’s worked on the installation were first class as well. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

My home warranty company, OneGuard, assigned me to Sun Tech. I was told they would reach out to me. After 4 hours, I had not heard anything so I called the office and was told the scheduler was out but would call me within the hour. 2 hours later I still had heard nothing. I called again and was asked if they could call me back immediately. Never got a call back. What a joke. Requested that my warranty company take them off of my claim. Unfortunate, I like supporting small local business especially in times likes these. Must not want to work. Would rather give the money to hard working companies.

Annual AC efficiency inspection. The technician arrived on time and explained what he was going to cover. He showed us all the results and didn't use the inspection as an excuse to find other jobs he could do. Nice guy. I will certainly use the company again.

When my furnace would not come on I called
One Guard Home Warranty to ask them to help me. They immediately sent a work order to Sun Tech Air Conditioning.

SunTech called me and set up an appointment, asap.

Technician, Jose Manzo, arrived at my home, on time and prepared to get things done. Jose is professional, personable, knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of my questions, without hesitation. Jose quickly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. It needed a new igniter. He contacted his office. Jose and Sun Tech kept me in the loop as far as locating the needed part.

Luckily, Sun Tech had the correct igniter in their warehouse. Jose returned to my house the very next day to complete the job. After installing the part, Jose checked out the entire system and thermostat. He reported that everything he tested was within range!

When I have any problems with my furnace in the future, and/or air conditioning , I will definitely ask that Jose be the technician dispatched to my home. Jose is a great guy. I trust him and his ability to diagnose and repair any HVAC system.

TLDR: I feel they overcharge for the service and parts provided. Like their techs have a minimum they have to charge per call out. I will take my business elsewhere. Full Story: I've had 3 or 4 call outs / experiences with this company. The first 2 or 3 call outs were through a home warranty company. The warranty company will tell you that Sun Tech will call you within 4 hours to schedule their technician. However, that did not happen any of the times - unless you want to wait days - you will need to call them to setup an appointment. Not a huge deal once you know. The first experiences I had with Sun Tech they fixed the problem promptly and I did not owe anything other than the warranty service fee which was like $75 which I paid directly to the warranty company. The most recent call out I no longer had the home warranty. AC was no longer blowing cold air. The tech arrived between the appointment window and was able to diagnose and fix the problem within a half hour and and was on his way. The invoice for this was $375. Here's my gripe. First, the same part was replaced by Sun Tech within the last year during one of the other call outs - a Dual Capacitator. The tech stated that the capacitator that was there (didn't know their company had done the previous replacement) was a poor product. Second, the actual cost of the dual capacitator if I walked into a store or ordered online is $30. I found the exact model available at a walmart for $25. Its on Amazon with prime delivery for $28. I was charged a $65 "retail no cool" and $310 to replace the dual capacitator. I don't know if they make their prices up on the spot based on what you look like or based on the fact that they are holding your cool air hostage but it definitely felt that way to me.

Have had nothing but positive experiences with Sun Tech. They were actually sent to us by our home warranty company first. Since then, we have them back for our routine A/C check. Friendly, reliable, honest.
