Merlin's AC & Plumbing

I am not impressed. On day 1, the install crew was late starting. Then after being in my attic for a while, they left. I thought they were going outside for a break or something. They were gone for at least two hours. No warning. No explanation. Nothing.

The system did not work when they left, but we did not notice until the next morning. I called, and a technician was sent out. He spent a couple of hours working on the system, finally locking it on 80 degrees and leaving. It got hot, so I had to shut it down when it became unbearable. I called again because the thermostat did not seem to be working. we had to use small personal heaters around the house during the coldest times of the days and nights that followed. It took Merlin's three more days to send another technician, and after several hours, he got the system to work. Happy times. Afterward, he left his ladder in my hallway. It was late, so I called the next morning to let them know to come and pick up the ladder. They did not show. I called the next day, told them again, and said I would leave it outside if they did not come. No one showed. I called again and told them I would put the ladder on the curb if no one showed up. The ladder was picked up the next day.

During this whole mess, I asked to speak to a manager or owner on three occasions. Each time I was told 24 to 48 hours. I gave them that time between calls. I NEVER received a call from the manager.

I did not give a rating of 1 because they finally got my system working. I will only use them again if I need warranty work. I would not recommend them to family or friends.

Wonderful experience. I had never heard of Merlins and took a chance on an AC maintenance call. My tech Danny V was extremely knowledgeable, professional and went the extra mile to make sure my 86 year old father is ready for the summer. Highly recommended!

Our service was plumbing. The quote was not clear and the cleanup was not thorough. Everyone especially Justin was very polite and professional. Done in a timely manner. Dug hole but the cover up dirt is still sinking. Not told if I needed to do anything about that. Issue corrected and no backups.

Requested an estimate for new HVAC system. Scuba was very professional, honest and gave us all our finance options. My husband and I felt no sales pressure.

Merlin's was always responsive to my questions, professional installers, very eager to explain everything in detail and always willing to resolve any issue that occurred rapidly! Very pleased with the installation and the HVAC System that was installed.

My AC went out on the Friday before Labor day. I called the early in the morning , and caught the dispatcher before she left home. She took the time to get me scheduled for a technician that is widely recommended in my neighborhood. The technician arrived and promptly diagnosed my problem. He then, gave me several options to fix part of the system or replace it all at once. No pressure to anything specific. We decided on the whole system replacement. Amazingly it was in stock and could be installed the next day. Did I mention it was Labor day weekend? The installers arrived on time and got it all done by noon. Works great! Throughout the process, all the different people that showed up were on time and very courteous. They came out after two weeks to do a quality control check. It made a bad situation a little bit better by dealing with a good company. i have recommended them to anyone who might need it.

Merlin’s Ac and Plumbing came to my house to Serviced my new HVAC system in my home before spring time 😎 The wife wanted a new thermostat and Merlin’s installed it for us for great rates and prices. Joshua! was very helpful setting up the appointment and made us not feel obligated and took his time to ensure we will be taken care of. Highly recommended!

Installed full A/C & heating system. Got A/C installed very quickly in the middle of summer. Worked with me for over a year to obtain SRP rebate. SRP was a massive pain to work with to receive the AC replacement rebate but Merlin's (specifically Brittany and Carl) continued to help and provide all information and documentation requested.

I had to have Merlins come out and repair the drain for the watersoftner that they installed in July of 2022. The techs that came out were Amyhony & Shane. They were professional and added to the drain so that it was away from my house. They also sent someone out to repair the stucco that was damaged from the drain being to close to the wall.

From making several appointments to the completion of several jobs everyone was both professional and friendly. In addition to doing the yearly inspection of both my AC and Heater some work was performed on my water heater, including the yearly draining and several needed repairs. Jon was the technician and is amazing. Prices were fair, all work was thoroughly explained and completed in a very timely matter. If you want quality work done at a fair price, I highly recommend Merlin's.
