After securing multiple estimates for replacement or our 20 year old HVAC system, we decided to go with Total Residential. What a great decision! Price was competitive. Crew arrived on time and completed the job as promised. Crew members worked well together , were respectful of property, and were friendly yet professional. One crew member guided us through setup and use of the new thermostat and members of the team made sure to offer us multiple opportunities to ask questions. Site was clean and orderly with everything working perfectly when the crew left. Very pleased and would certainly recommend Total Residential to others.

Hired Total to conduct routine maintenance check on my air conditioning unit. Technician was able to come out earlier and they were communicative and respectful. Technician explained his work and some potential, minor issues to address in future. Payment and receipt process was easy and straightforward. Highly recommend Total Mechanical.

Total Mechanical did a complete HVAC replacement for us just after we purchased our house last month. Of the 3 estimates we obtained, they weren't the least expensive, but they were the most informative and Robert instilled the most confidence. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. They showed up on time. Their work was excellent. When they finished you couldn't even tell they'd been there - the clean-up was great. We've been running the furnace for several weeks now and we're very pleased. I'm sure we'll feel the same once AC season arrives.

Let me just start by saying that Stephanie is AMAZING! I have called this company on numerous occasions for my husbands rentals, and our personal home and every time I call she goes above and beyond to help me. The technicians are also always so punctual and call before they arrive and are super friendly. If I could give them a 10 star google review i would!

Total Residential did an A+ job start to finish on replacing our two furnaces and two A/C units. The Sales Director (BJ) explained all the options and didn't try and sell us things we didn't need. Stephanie did a great job scheduling and coordinating. The 3-person installation crew was courteous, worked diligently for two days, explained everything once they were done and cleaned up perfectly. It was a big job, done right.

Hi My name is Marty and heave been dealing with Total Mechanical for several years. Upon my request when talking with Penny in customer service, she went above and beyond what would have been expected to help me solve a problem before I went into surgery that week. She was understanding, professional, cordial and willing to help me out with my electrical request. I'll summarize this by saying that Penny is really good at her job and would highly recommend that you hang onto this employee. The second part is Jason, the electrical technician, that did the work. He was also professional, understanding, and takes a lot of pride in his work which is why I requested him and have dealt with him in the past. His expertise in resolving my issue was as if he was doing his own personal project. In closing, I would HIGHLY recommend both of them to friends and family.

Total Mechanics did a wonderful job from Robert coming to our home for an estimate to Ben and Rob installing a new furnace and central air. I'm always impressed by professionalism and staff showing up on time. All workers made sure I knew what to expect before and during the project. Thank you again! I still can't believe we have central air and it couldn't have been installed at a better time! Sunny,hot and humid!

I called and had a technician come to fix my furnace that was not running the morning of the call. (They installed my furnace initially.) The technician stated that he was unable to find the problem. I was charged for the truck fee and the technicians 'work.'
I experienced the same problem later that night and called back. The person with whom I spoke to that night stated that they would charge an after hours fee that would start when he left his home. He made it clear that he was an hour away from me and I would be charged for his driving time as well.
I called another company who was here within a half hour, diagnosed and fixed the problem. After showing the notes from the technician from Total Mechanical to the person that actually fixed my furnace (from another company) he laughed and stated that if the Total Mechanical technician had done the work he would have noticed what was wrong right away.
I will never use Total Mechanical again and I will be sure to let others know not to as well.
I called to follow up this morning and the secretary, irritated, stated that this was their policy.
If Total Mechanical is not willing to work with customers in Milwaukee, they should not put in bids to do work in Milwaukee.

Always super friendly. They came out and gave an estimate on the job days after I called. We got the work scheduled within weeks (due to parts lead times). They came in and got the work done in one day. Then we’re very professional, the work was in the garage and they still decided to clean up the floor after they were done. 10/10 would hire again.
