Harker Heating & Cooling

I recently had Harker repair my AC when it failed right before Memorial Day weekend and they were great to work with. I worked with Wayne, Isaac, and Nate and they were all professional, communicative, and helpful. I had my coil and compressor both replaced and the pricing was entirely fair.

First of all, I received a text message with a picture of the person who was coming out to see me. Then, our sales rep Dirk was very good with explaining the differences for furnaces and air conditioning units (we needed both). I informed them I'd get back to them as soon as I had other quotes. They were the most informative and the best for cost. We had a crew come out and replace the units and check current wiring to ensure we could run everything from our smart thermostat before leaving. Great team overall.
5/31/22 Year 2 for owning the furnace and air conditioning unit- the routine maintenance. We've been having an issue with the filter bay from the start. He fixed that, tested our AC, checked our furnace and was very considerate. He wore a mask to ensure both of our safety (we did the same). Fantastic!

Called re water leak in a.m. Brian was here at noon. He located the problem, (minor yay) and fixed it, also changed the filter, and made some adjustment to hose, so it drains better! Brian was excellent, as is Harker, for 33 years now!

I called Harker when my house started getting cold after giving up on trying to diagnose and fix my 12yo furnace myself. Within about 30min of calling, Ryan the technician showed up at my house. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad heat exchanger, ordered a replacement and scheduled himself to do the repair the next day. I am an engineer that likes to understand the details of how equipment works, how things are diagnosed, and the various failure mechanisms. I learned a lot from Ryan, who totally knew what he was talking about and was generous in answering my many questions. His diagnosis was proven correct by visual inspection after the old heat exchanger was removed (thankfully under Carrier lifetime warranty). I believe this heavy-duty heat exchanger would have lasted a lot longer or forever had I done some preventive maintenance (e.g. flush condensate trap prior to it clogging, which it did 5 years ago) or had Harker check it once in a while. I am confident that my furnace was just repaired with as much skill and care as possible, which I really appreciated, especially so close to the holidays!
I will always call Harker for any HVAC equipment or service!

We have been using Harker for years now and they are always very quick to respond and professional. Austin was the technician that came out most recently and he was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to ensure that I understood what the problem was and how to fix it. Definitely recommend them!

Lukas was professional and thorough. He explained each thing he was going to do. He had to go into our attic to check the air handling system, which required quite a climb. He cleaned the pipe, asking where was the best place to wash the pipe. He inspected outside and found a cut to the wiring, which he replaced. In addition, he was kind to our dogs and cats. Excellent service!

We needed our air conditioners checked for the season at 2 properties. Lukas was incredible. He really knew what he was talking about and made it easy to understand. He was honest and kind. An employee like this is such an asset to a company. But we have used Harker for years and have never been disappointed. :)

Brian James did a superb job cleaning, repairing, and recalibrating our heating and cooling system. He spent 3x more time on site than any service rep ever has, took care of issues we didn’t even know we had, carefully explained everything, answered all our questions, and left two very happy customers when he was done. Next time we need help with our system, we will ask for Brian James by name. Highly recommended and much-appreciated!

Great job - as always! Additionally I really appreciated talking with Lucas about our system,. He explained exactly what he'd done for maintenance. He 'fixed' our AC (a building contractor we've been working with had turned off our AC in a way that wasn't clear to us and neglected to turn it back on. We thought it had broken!) - and he clarified when our next service call to Harker should happen (spring). Just really appreciated this service man!
