Just had Mark come out again for a new project (adding some runs in an unfinished basement that didn't have any). As always his work is top notch. Duct work was clean, tied up well, and routed in the least intrusive ways possible. To date, Mark has replaced 3 furnaces for me (I own rentals), besides the recent duct-work and occasional service calls. Unlike others in the past, I've never had to go in and modify or correct issues... in fact, I have yet to have a service call from a tenant on anything Mark has repaired or installed.

Mark scheduled an appointment quickly to find out why our furnace wouldn’t start. He found two issues promptly and gave me resonable quotes for repair within 10 minutes. He sent out his technician Iz to perform the repairs a few days later after the parts came in and our furnace was working again! Mark and Iz were both kind, professional, honest and efficient. I would definitely work with this company again! Thanks guys!

Mark/Columbia was fantastic. One of the big companies came a few months ago and claimed that the blower motor was leaking, the blower wheel was implacted with debris, the capacitor was bad, and the inducer was grinding and over-amping. They claimed it would cost over $3000 for repairs, and pushed me towards total system replacement ($5000-$10000).
Mark carefully made his diagnosis that all aforementioned components were working fine on my 13 year-old furnace, but that the heat pump had a leak that he could likely fix. He also replaced a thermostat with a new one that I wanted since it had gone dead since the original HVAC company visited. Total cost was $1150 for 2 visits and 4-5 hours work, and much of that cost was for the added SMART thermostat wiring and installation.
Mark is professional, trustworthy, honest, personable, punctual, considerate, and knowledgeable. He took the time to carefully diagnose the issues with my furnace/heat pump/AC system, was very responsive to my queries and amenable to my needs, and I will DEFINITELY be using his company Columbia as my HVAC company going forward... Highly recommended!!

Mark did an excellent service and had a great attitude. We had an accident while working and he was able to come out and fix it the next business day. Mark gave a thorough detail explanation on the service he performed and showed me everything he had fixed. Highly recommend this company!

Mark made a prompt visit to my house to diagnose the problem of the furnace. He identified the issue and fixed it so my house can be warm and cozy again. Besides fixing the furnace, he also help me to drain the water heater and seal a leaking valve with a cap. With affordable price, attentive to details and friendly services, I highly recommend Mark for any furnace related works.

I called on Monday night, appt scheduled for Tuesday am. Mark showed up on time, diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes, and provided a fix in the next 15 minutes. He also went the extra mile explaining my filter situation (I was restricting air flow with unnecessary extra filter). Checked for carbon monoxide, asked if there were any other HVAC related issues, and only charged the diagnostic fee I was quoted. I highly recommend Columbia Heating and AC, and especially Mark. My furnace suddenly stopped working. And, the weather was cold! I found Mark's number on the internet. I had no idea who I was contacting or their expertise. I could not be more pleased. Not only with his skill set, but with Mark's problem solving skills and determination to fix my troubled furnace. He spent 2.5 hours explaining his thinking, and trying multiple options.
