Thanks GH Heating & AC for an excellent heat pump replacement experience. Referred by a friend who is a professional in the HVAC business, their bid was prompt, complete and more competitive than others we received. We enjoy the super quiet efficient heat. Thanks again to Robert, Sam, Connor and Travis for the good work.
After doing a lot of research and getting 4 bids I received the excellent product line and service from Gig Harbor heating . They asked us what we wanted and made sure they delivered. Great company and great people. Thanks.
Very neat , clean, and professional. They came at 8:30 and I had AC by 3! Couldn't be happier! Susie in the office is very thorough and helpful. Would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for doing a great job!
We got a custom fireplace insert. And it’s amazing! They got it set up quickly and it looks amazing. Thank you!!! And we had a question on the remote and they popped back over to walk us through it. We are in fircrest and for them to drive all the way out here to help us was amazing.
I have two heat pumps, one of which, the fan motor and controller had to be replaced. When finished, I noticed a vibration. When I called to report this to Gig Harbor Heating, I was informed that it could be a weight had come off.I ask them to fix, and was told that it was not there fault, even though it happened after they worked on it, and that I would be responsable for the cost of new squirl cage and labor. When I questioned this they informed me that I would have to prove that it was they who caused the problem. I found this to be an insult, and not what I would call a good buisness response or a good customer support. I would not use this company again!
Update: I had another company out. Found the squirl cage was bent. Asked me how it had been pulled from shaft, I said that the tech stood on the fan housing and repeatedly yanked on by the tech. I was told that this was not the proper way, it should have been done with a puller. New tech said that all weights were in place, but fan blade's were bent. Cost to repair $480.00. Again I say, I will never use this company again, and I definitely do not recomend !
Response to owner: It took 2 weeks, one because I went out of town. The other, I don't normally hug the inside heating unit as a daily function. It wasn,t until I was reaching for something, that I leaned on furnace to support myself. The fan is a three speed, and didn't vibrate until high speed. You actually have to touch the unit to feel the vibration. When I called you were defensive from the first, and would not even come out to investigate. You wanted to charge me, and said tha I couldn't prove that your tech did it. The company I had in to repair found that, it was the techs fault, for manner in which removed.
Again I find this company is not customer friendly, Beware of using this company!
Here is invoice from company that repaired the unit.

Travis was on time and still called prior to showing up to repair our 1970's furnace. He quickly found the problem we were experiencing and found a second issue which he also quickly repaired. He explained everything very clearly and had the parts needed. I've spent 40 years in customer service and found the service provided was top notch.
I had Gig Harbor Heating out at my house to service my furnace. They were very easy to do business with.Travis showed up on time for my appointment and was very professional.
Heat pump died on the coldest of weeks! Had Presidents day off, called them. The office girl Susie re-arraigned service guys jobs to get me on during my day off!! Wow! Then the service guy Austin was actually an hour early! Didn't know customer service like this still existed! Thank you!
Travis rrived on time or called if running a bit late. Diagnosed the heat pump problem and took care of it. Quick, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you.
I would highly recommend this local, professional, and friendly company. My are conditioning stopped working, I called and they were here the same day, ordered the part and fixed it the next morning. the owner and his office manager were great to work with!
