Today was my second experience with Smiley's and both times the tech and service was truly outstanding from the first phone call to the end. The cost for the service call was very reasonable and much less than I expected. A big plus!

I highly recommend Smiley's to everyone. There is no better deal, politeness and professionalism to be had around here. Wonderful people to deal with.

My tech was "Norman", a real gentleman with great knowledge. He correctly guessed what my trouble was before even seeing the unit. I had damaged a certain connection during my recent cleaning of the inside condensing unit. That, impressed me very much!

It was 36 degrees outside and we woke up to no heat in our house. We called Smiley's & they assured us someone would be out before noon. The technician called at 11 A.M. to let us know he was in route and we had heat by noon. As ALWAYS Smiley's is dependable, professional and reasonable. Thank you Smiley's!

Dayton and Brandon were excellent professional workers. Dayton worked diligently in that hot attic all day long by himself. The older guy was suppose to go up there and help him and never did. Brandon worked on our outside unit in that hot sun so consistently and was polite and courteous. Dayton kept us informed of everything that was going on as it progressed. I asked Chris to put on a face mask and he refused he said he breathed better with the bandanna tied around his face and I know that wasn’t true because it was soaked and I knew was a potential hazard for my husband and myself both of whom have underlying health issues. Also, Chris did not wear shoe covers. The job ran over because Dayton wanted to make sure everything was working properly and thoroughly explain the new thermostat and show is how to use it and get us to sign the paperwork. The Chris guy says I wish these guys would hurry up. I responded oh no not on our job they are not going to hurry. Dayton apologized and apologized again for Chris behavior not to mention he blew my downstairs bathroom out and left the door open. It was repulsive. It was so bad I had to go and clean it. Dayton and I were standing in my garage having a conversation and I was asking him how I could do a rating on him and Brandon and let someone know about Chris so Dayton was sending me the link to this survey and the guy Chris gets out of the truck yelling “come on man” let’s go. The quality of the work and equipment we are satisfied with and Dayton and Brandon did an excellent job. Chris is not representing your company in a positive light at all.

We recently had a new heat pump and air handler installed. Smileys was very thorough and also took every measure to protect the inside of our home by laying down multiple tarps, etc. while working.

This is how you do business right I went on line gave my request for what I needed done, got a call from the company, talked with 2 people, consultant came out , saw my need, gave me an estimate well within my budget, my New AC system was installed the next day. . Now that's doing business Right.

The tech, Joey, was very professional, and he did an outstanding job of checking out my system; providing pictures of the internal components which showed damage that needed correction. Joey explained each problem and suggested how to correct them. I decided to replace the 11 year old unit, and they will be here next week to do the job.

We have a 2100sf single family ranch and had rodents invade our crawlspace. They destroyed the duct-work and Insulation. After getting rid of the rodents and finding where they had entered, we decided, since our Heating and AC System was 25 years old this would be a good time to replace everything. I decided to stick with the Trane Systems and obtain quotes from Four area Heating and Air Companies. We decided on Smiley's. Smiley's removed the Mini-Split in our Great Room and installed four new floor registers, relocated a wall register in the MBR to the floor, laid 6 Mil Plastic under the entire house and re-hung the insulation. They then Installed all new Dual Trane 3-1/2 Ton Electric Heat Pump, and Gas Furnace and Air-handler. All new Duct Work and a second Air-Return and a new programable digital thermostat.

We have had extensive remodeling performed over the years to our home, and NEVER have I felt comfortable to write a favorable review. This Company deserves one!

From the day I called and spoke to their friendly receptionist, to meeting their estimator (Bruce) the next day. I had the feeling this was going to be the company to perform the work. Why? Bruce appreciated the Call. He respected our home. Wore a face mask, slipped on shoe covers. He was not in a rush whatsoever. He listened to everything and understood what I wanted and needed. I could tell he was a non-pushy Heating & AC Professional. He examined under the house, and the systems and the entire scope of the job I was requesting. When he was through with his evaluation, he made a few suggestions. I listened and, after he left to put his Price Quote together, I researched his suggestions and quickly learned, he was spot-on. Bruce also told me all about his company. He assured me, HE would personally be the man over-seeing all the work performed, and once his guy's started the job, they would not be assigned to any another job until my work was completed. I liked that!

I still collected three more quotes, and, they were all pretty close to each other in price. However, the lowest bid was Not going to determine who was going to perform the work on our home. I was looking for a Trane Comfort Control Specialist. A company with a solid reputation in Hampton Roads, a company who employed their own people. A company with a history and good reviews, not only on the install, but on their services as well.

The Installers, TJ and Hunter or AMAZING! They were very clean-cut, very respectful, hard working young men, and very professional. Bruce, as promised came out and inspected their work. These guy's, in my opinion, went above and beyond. I went under my house myself before and after. They had absolutely no idea this overweight 63 year-old men was going to go under there himself to inspect. Everything was so nice and neatly installed. Beautiful Job!! I would highly recommended Smiley's Heating and Cooling to anyone!

Shawn was the HVAC Tech sent and he did an excellent job. I requested an inspection of my HVAC system having just recently purchasing the condo and was concerned with the safety of the gas furnace. Shawn arrived on time and was very professional. He checked all components for serviceability and included pictures and explained all variation in normal operation. I would highly recommend Shawn and Smileys for any HVAC work you need.
